The first class was a success. I'd managed to make it through without blowing my cover, and I had even earned myself a bit of a reputation—the cool teacher who wasn't afraid to break a few rules. Sure, the secretary had complained about the class being unruly and difficult to handle, but honestly, what did she expect? They were witches and warlocks, for heaven's sake, not the kind of students who could be tamed with a few dry lectures. Besides, I'd rather have them awake and engaged, even if it meant a little chaos.
I shook my head as I walked out of the classroom, thoughts already drifting toward the next important task on my list: the library. I had hours to kill before my next class in the afternoon, and if I was going to figure out how to stop Lucius from invading my dreams, now was the time.
