Eve POV:
Once inside, I didn't waste any time. I headed straight for the back of the library, to the section where the real books were kept - restricted section. Of course, I knew what I needed was in the real restricted section, where no random witch could just pick up a book on dream manipulation and go off causing chaos. I was smart enough to know that. I had no delusions about that.
The restricted section was hidden for a reason. I needed a specific book, something about invading dreams. I mean, they wouldn't just leave a random book on that subject lying around for anyone to pick up and misuse. No, this place had hidden rooms, secret chambers—places no one was supposed to know about.
If I was going to find what I needed, it was going to be hidden, locked away for good reason.
I wasn't foolish enough to think the restricted section was obvious. The books there were dangerous—books that could rip open the fabric of reality or, in my case, invade the sanctity of someone's mind.
