Kiro and Lyra begins to sit on the pillow which was there,
"What are these for?" Asks Kiro.
Nasu's face saddens with that question and he avoids their stare.
Lyra looks at him and says—"It's fine if you don't want to"
Nasu looks up at the mural of the painting which portrayed them (3 Gods)
—"In the beginning, people worshipped us, believing that we brought prosperity and peace among the people and yes we did.
As time passed by the people became more greedy and wanted more of what we offered."
He clenches his teeth in anger with his eyes turning fiery red,
"Mr.Nasu??" Questions Kiro in concern.
He calms down and continues—" We were like you;humans, we had feelings and emotions, the only difference was that we were just messengers of the God we served."
Haru and Lyra both gazes at Nasu and clenches their fist into their thighs.
Nasu was still looking at the mural.—
"We were born without names so the 3 of us named one another; Nasu,Kento and Jin.
Jin was the eldest, with me being second and Kento as the last.
One day a man came and asked us to offer him a thousand bags, to which we replied that we could not offer such enormous amount.
He took out a knife and grabbed Kento, threatening to kill him. At that moment Jin got angry and attacked him, to which he released Kento.
Being afraid of getting killed, he ran back to the village and we celebrated thinking it was our victory, Little did we know it would bite back to us.
The man ran back to village and spread the rumour that we threatened and attacked him because he did not give any offerings.
On that night the villagers gathered the surrounding villages and with that, they came and burned down our mountains.
Fearing that we might get caught and be killed, we ran as far as we could—"
Kiro raises his hand and asks"Weren't you powerful enough to kill them?"
Nasu smiles with a sad face and replies "Yes, but that would land a curse upon us. We would be sealed for a thousand years if we were to harm any humans without consent.
Yet, Jin stayed back forcing us to run.
People with torches came chasing after us,
Kento and I kept running, slowly the sound of people began to fade and I could hear screams. Before they could destroy the other two mountains, Jin sacrificed himself for us."
Hmm… wonders Kiro with his hands on the chin—" So what happened to Jin?"
Nasu looks down and frowns—"He's still serving his thousand years punishment"
Kiro stands in anger and shouts—"But it wasn't his fault!!"
Lyra stands and tries to calm Kiro.
" That's how we are supposed to be," says Nasu as he smiles and pats Kiro's hair.
Kiro starts to tear up as Nasu pats him,
He starts to clench his teeth and shouts
"I will bring him back!!"
Both Lyra and Nasu widens their eyes with the sudden answer of Kiro.
He chuckles and tells him " You're not half of me yet you'll bring him?"
Kiro was determined to bring him back, with all seriousness he asked "So how can I go and release him?"
Nasu widened his eyes and walked over the murals touching it,—"You need to go to Diyu"
He looks back at Kiro—"Not even I dare to go there"
Kiro without a single Hesitation looked him in the eyes—"Let me go there"
Lyra interrupts—"How can we mere mortals do anything"
Kiro punches the pillar in anger and he gets out, looking at his reaction Lyra heads out to comfort him.
Nasu sighs but is shocked to see that Kiro who punched the pillar put a dent on it.
This pillar was created to withstand a whole dimension, since this supported the shrine which carried the portals to various worlds.
He smiles and heads out.
"Take your sword, I'll train you" says Nasu as he comes out of the shrine.
Both Kiro and Lyra looks at him, Kiro—"Hai"
They come into the empty compound where the dry leaves are falling, Lyra heads to the waterfall to train and meditate.
Nasu walks in circle around him —"So by now you should've known how to imbue your mana into your sword"
Kiro looks into his sword and replies "Yes!"
He keeps circling around him and disappears
—"What about channelling your mana into the surroundings" says Nasu as his voice echoes.
Kiro looks everywhere but is unable to find him—"How am I supposed to do that"
And out of the blue comes Nasu behind him
—"You're better off dead"
Kiro is amazed at how he didn't feel his presence at all, At this moment he realised he was still at the bottom.
Nasu holds his hands against the chin and says "Imagine this Compund is a chessboard— Kiro closes his eyes and starts to imagine,Blue lines starts to form squares similar to a chessboard—-Now slowly channel your mana into your surroundings"
He inhales and slowly exhales his mana, channeling it to the compund, Only half of the board was visible to him since his mana was lacking. He sees Nasu as a red dot even with his eyes closed.
Nasu disappears again—"Now try to dodge my attack"
Kiro sees a red dot moving in, he holds his sword into the moving direction and swings, but it vanishes, two more dots comes heading towards his direction and with this surprise he panicks and opens his eyes.
"You're dead again" as Nasu holds his dagger on his neck from behind.
Kiro lets out a huge sigh—"That's not fair"
Nasu looks at him and replies "If you want your enemies to be fair, you've already lost"
And he heads towards the shrine to cook—" You practice with the leaves" says Nasu as he cuts the dry leaves with his hands.
Kiro starts to close his eyes and concentrates on channelling his mana.
