----------
At Kuoh Academy, where the center of the storm is at.
A stream of ones and zeroes burst to life. Hajime's Herrscher Core flared at full capacity, his eyes glowing crimson as the gear-like irises clicked into place. The power of the Herrscher of Reason surged, creating intricate, gear-like constructs of code and light. They unfolded across the broken sky like some cosmic architecture, spiraling outward in radiant rings that fought to stitch the world back together.
His jaw tightened, sweat rolling down his face. "The tear is too unstable!… I can't…. hold it!"
Michael, Gabriel, Azazel, and Shemhazai followed him, they spread their wings and flew near the tear. Their light merged as they erected a colossal barrier over it, trying to halt its spread.
Alice took action next. Placing her hand to her chest, drawing on the blessing that Hajime had imparted to her, Blessing of Terra authority. She breathed deeply and poured her power into the framework he created, green winds came forth, reinforcing the structure.
"If you can't do it alone! Then we will hold it together!" she said with determination, her eyes glowing bright with emerald light.
The Quantum Shadows saw their actions, and immediately moved to stop them. Anisphia, Sagiri, and Villhaze rushed in, intercepting the oncoming swarm. Steel clashed and spells flashed as they fought to keep the angels and Hajime protected.
"Not happening!" Anisphia shouted, activating her magic blades as she cut through the enemies.
Villhaze parried another strike, her daggers sparking against claws. "Just focus on repairing the tear! We'll handle the rest, Your Majesty!"
Seeing their efforts Hajime controlled his construct, rotating the gears to slowly stitching the open tear.
Anisphia threw a short mana blade toward Sagiri before sliding across the ground, her magic blades flashing as she cut down the beasts at Hajime's flank. "Sagiri! Take this and guard Alice's side! No one must get through to her!"
Sagiri caught the weapon mid‑stride, gave a sharp nod, and sprinted through the wreckage. She drew the blade in a single smooth motion, stabbing and slashing with practiced speed. "Leave it to me!"
"Milady, watch out!" Villhaze shouted as several beasts slipped past her defense, rushing toward Ingvild and Ophis.
Ingvild stepped forward, legs trembling, her breath quick and shallow. Fear clawed at her chest but she refused to yield. Raising her hands, she summoned a serpent of water, the dragon‑like torrent snapping its jaws around the enemies. Her fists clenched tighter as she forced her body to hold, shielding the small dragon child behind her. The water dragon coiled around both her and Ophis like a living barrier.
"Stay behind me, Ophis-chan… I won't let them touch you!" she declared.
Behind her, Ophis stared ahead. For the first time in her endless existence, something foreign stirred inside. Her expression remained blank, yet her gaze scanned toward everyone struggling to fight the numerous enemies, her small frame trembling.
"…what is this… feeling?" she whispered, unheard by anyone else.
Then… from within the tear, something awakens. A massive set of eyes blinked open.
Trihexa.
Gasps tore through the battlefield.
Azazel's face was drained of color. "That… that's impossible."
Michael's body staggered. "The seal… has been broken?"
Gabriel's voice trembled. "That seal that cost father his life…"
Despair threatened to consume the world.
And… as if fate was mocking them, the tear in the sky widened again.
A monstrous Quantum Shadow in a shape like a dragon tore free, its body enveloped by distortion. With a single earth‑shaking roar, the shields raised by Michael, Gabriel, Azazel, and Shemhazai shattered like glass, Throwing them down back to the ground
The dragon's eyes locked onto Hajime as he fought to keep the wound in reality from spreading. It spread its wings wide and, with hundreds of Quantum Shadows behind it, dove straight at him.
Gritting his teeth, Hajime forced the Herrscher Core to answer. Cannon constructs materialized and fired volleys, but with most of his strength focused on sealing the tear, the blasts lacked the power to pierce the dragon's hide. Sparks rained across the sky as the shots didn't do much damage on its scales.
"Hajime!!!" Alice and Anisphia cried, struggling to cut down their own enemies.
"Your Majesty!" Villhaze shouted before a jellyfish‑shaped quantum beast tossed her aside. She crashed into the rubble with a pained gasp.
"Nagumo.... Hajime!" Sagiri's voice broke as she forced her battered body to stand, her hand gripping her blade tightly as blood dripped from her arm.
"Nooo!!!" Ingvild screamed, her voice breaking as tears poured in her eyes.
Hajime braced himself as the dragon came closer. And then… he felt it. A familiar presence. His eyes widened, heart pounding. Even without looking, he already knew who it was.
"You looked like you could use a hand," a calm, cool and familiar voice called out.
The temperature suddenly skyrocketed, the air itself trembling as if the sun had descended. In the blink of an eye, the Quantum Dragon shadow was split apart, its massive form burned down to oblivion.
High above the battlefield, Noah slowly landed on a platform created from the Force. His hair and Jedi robes swaying along with the wind. His eyes blazed like miniature suns. In his hands was his most destructive weapon, the Judgement of Shamash, in its Zeroth Form, Might of An‑Utu. He twisted his body and swung Shamash, the flames of destruction incinerating the surviving Quantum Shadows around them.
Once settled, making sure that the remaining shadows are gone and no new enemies coming. Noah stretched out his left hand as though he was holding the world itself. In a breath, he connected to the Force. With him at the center, the Trailblaze and Imaginary energy expanded together, spreading into every corner of the world. One by one, every Quantum Shadows that had appeared froze in place, struggling to move as if something unseen holding and keeping them from moving.
The next moment, with a single simple motion of closing his hand into a fist, a loud crack spread across the world. In the eyes of humanity and like, watching from ruined streets and shattered cities, the monsters that once wreaked havoc suddenly buckled as though being crushed by an invisible force, before dissolving into quantum particles and fading from existence.
Civilians stared in disbelief, gasps and cries of awe spread through them.
"...They're gone?"
"We're saved…?"
Hajime exhaled the breath he hadn't realized he was holding. A tired but genuine smile crept across his face. "....You and your dramatic entrances, Captain."
—-
As the last trace of Quantum Shadows dissolved into nothing, Noah jumped down from the platform where he was standing and slowly descended to the ground. His eyes run over Kuoh Town, houses and buildings reduced to rubble, roads split apart, poles snapped, cries for help ringing in the distance, the dimensional barrier still damaged and Trihexa's threat looming above; Yet, the world… somehow….. felt calmer.
The leaders of the Three Factions, Michael, Gabriel, Azazel, Shemhazai, and the returning Sirzechs and Serafall, still stunned bearing witness to the power that had saved their world.
"...Just how in the world…?" Azazel muttered, disbelief heavy in his voice.
"Is this… truly the strength of the one leading the Trailblaze?" Shemhazai asked, his voice mixed between awe and fear.
"That power… it reached not only here, but across the entire world," Sirzechs whispered, his eyes wide with shock.
Serafall pressed a hand against her chest, cheeks flushed. "He's… he's shining… like the sun at dawn."
Michael's lips trembled. "Who… is he really…?"
Gabriel's breath caught. Her gaze never left Noah's figure as her hand clutched at her heart. "It's him… his… my…!"
Alice and Anisphia rushed toward him as he landed beside Hajime, relief clear in their voices. "Captain!!"
Noah, lifted a hand in an easy wave, his tone warm and teasing despite the devastation around them. "Yo. Did you miss me?"
Without waiting for their reply, Noah lifted his gaze to the broken sky, pointing a finger toward the massive eye glaring through the widening tear.
"Go back to where you belong." His voice carried calm, unshakable authority.
The Force responded at his command. Hajime's struggling construct stabilizes, gears now rotating smoothly as the broken fabric of reality begins to mend.
The Quantum Shadows who are trying to get out at the tear freeze mid‑step before being pushed back as though the world itself rejected them. Even Trihexa's immense eye recoiled, wincing as it withdrew into the void. A roar shook the sky, making everyone on the ground flinch in shock.
"Noah…" Hajime muttered, his shoulders loosening as the crushing pressure eased. Relief spreading across his face.
Alice's eyes teared up as her voice shook. "Thank goodness… but is it really ok for you to be here?" Her gaze went upward to the stars, where a greater threat arrived.
Anisphia clenched her fists, biting her lips. "We're grateful—truly! But Captain, shouldn't you be up there instead of down here with us?"
Hajime shot Noah a worried glance. "…. Anis is right, Noah. The Antimatter Legion should already be in orbit."
Noah only answered with that familiar, confident grin. "Relax. Kii, Sii, Ellie, and Lumi are already on it."
—--
Far above the world, out in the void of space.
Four figures shine brightly between the planet and the stars.
Kiana, the Ace of the crew and Noah's Radiant Flame, danced across the battlefield between the planet below and the thousands Void Rangers swarming in. In her Herrscher of Flamescion form, the flame of tomorrow blazed, burning away the soldiers of the legion. With every swing of her Flamescion greatsword, crimson lotus of fire erupted, reducing Rangers, Tramplers, Distorters, and Baryons into motes of fading light.
"Don't even think you can pass through us, Legion of Destruction!" she shouted, her voice carrying across the void.
Behind her, a haze of quantum energy gathered, forming into the shape of a purple‑haired, golden‑eyed girl. The crew's self‑proclaimed magical girl, Sirin, waves her hand, and a storm of Archon Spears launches forward, piercing through the ranks of distant Distorters and Eliminators. A Doomsday Beast spread its wings nearby, preparing to unleash a barrage of quantum lasers.
Sirin's eyes narrowed. She rose higher, and with a sweep of her hands, void portals opened before both her and Kiana, swallowing the lasers whole. With a flick of her wrists, the portals re‑opened around the beast, returning its own fire upon it. The beast roared in agony as the blasts tore into its body. Like a conductor leading an orchestra, Sirin guided the Archon Spears straight into the Antimatter Engine in its chest, breaking it.
Kiana twisted in the air above, flames wrapping her greatsword. With one fierce swing, she cut the staggering beast in half.
"Just who are you showing off for? Noah isn't even here," Sirin deadpanned.
Kiana only smirked, tossing her hair back. "You say that, but I know you think it's cool too."
Sirin blinked, then quickly looked away. "...I don't know what you're talking about."
"Or so she says~" Kiana teased in a sing-song voice.
Sirin ignored her sister, though her reddened cheeks betrayed her, and fixed her gaze on the legion ship in the distance. "Stop spouting nonsense and start smashing that ship."
Flaring her Quantum Astral Emblem, she drew on its power. Kiana rolled her eyes but followed suit, her own Pyro Astral Emblem blazing to life. The two emblems throb in sync, their glow harmonizing.
"Geez, why can't you just be honest for once?" Kiana muttered as fiery imaginary energy gathered at her greatsword.
Sirin spread her arms, void cubes forming and expanding, trapping the legion's ships inside a mirror-like dimension.
"Hmph! I'm fine just the way I am! Noah said so!!" she snapped back defiantly.
A swarm of voidrangers came out from the ship, diving straight at them in an attempt to break the barrier dimension.
Kiana's lips twitched with amusement. "...Don't you think it's because Captain likes seeing those innocent reactions of yours?"
Taking their stance, both sisters' emblems throbbed with Pyro and Quantum energy, their powers intertwining to create countless reflections of themselves. The voidrangers froze mid‑flight, scanning in confusion as every illusion read as real.
Then Kiana and Sirin shouted together, unleashing their joint skill. "Flame Mirage!!"
Spectral afterimages burst forward, interlaced with quantum distortions. With Sirin's quantum illusions amplified by the Key of Sentience, every strike became reality, not just simple illusions.
Explosions tore through the void. Legion ships burst apart, and voidrangers screamed as one by one they were destroyed inside the quantum realm created by Sirin.
"Dual emblem sync at ninety-six percent. You're still with me, Sister?" Sirin called out.
Kiana spun midair, her flames blooming into a blazing lotus under her feet. "Of course I am!"
The two sisters moved as one—flame and void intertwining, unstoppable together.
Not far from them, Elysia glided gracefully across the battlefield, her long pink hair trailing like a comet's tail under the starlight. Her Cyro Astral Emblem shines at her waist, pink crystal arrows glowing with the combined powers of Origin and Remembrance. Each shot flew in melodic rhythm, striking Voidrangers and dissolving them into dust.
Her movements resembled a performance, dignified, fluid, every arrow shot at the height of a song. One spiraled mid‑flight, slicing through a cluster of galloping Void Trumplers before bursting into a shower of crystal petals.
"Hmhm~ even in battle, one mustn't forget beauty and elegance. Don't you agree, Mr. Doom Beast?"
A Doomsday Beast roared and lunged at her, its form radiating fury. Elysia only smiled serenely. "My, such a poor reply… you truly lack grace."
She twirled lightly, a crystalline pink ballista blooming before her. At its core, an Origin arrow thrummed with force enough to knock the moon from orbit. "Then let this memory be a lesson in elegance."
She released it.
The colossal arrow blazed forward, vibrating with Origin energy. It pierced through the Doomsday Beast's chest and carried on, shredding through a legion ship and scattering rangers in its path. The beast crumbled to dust as the ship detonated in a blinding flash.
Elysia spun with a flourish, curtsying as frost‑like sparkles trailed behind her like stardust. "Mmm… see? It's not that hard."
But the Voidrangers in the distance cared nothing for her words and charged at her regardless.
"My! Such a delightful audience. Then perhaps one more performance will help you understand the beauty of life," she said with a playful wink, materializing another set of arrows.
With a single swing of her sword, the Doomsday Beast split clean in half. From within the collapsing body, Lumine emerged, golden wings of light shining like a star. Her scarf flowing in the force of her strike, and the glow of her Astral Emblem burned with Imaginary energy, mirroring her resolve. She let out a small huff, dodging a flurry of Voidranger strikes before cutting them down with swift arcs of her golden blade. One after another fell, until the swarm around her was reduced to dust. But as she balances herself, she spotted a legion ship getting closer toward the planet. Without hesitation she flew to intercept, only to be blocked by a wall of thousands of Voidrangers.
Lumine tightened her grip on her sword as the seven elements of Teyvat came to life around her. With a sweep of her hand, spheres of Hydro twined with Dendro vines burst forth. On impact, Dendro cores bloomed. Coating her body in Electro element, she dashed through the horde. As she passed, the Hyperbloom reaction triggered. The Dendro cores launch like homing missiles, blasting through the Voidrangers in a storm of explosions.
Calling on Geo, she conjured rock‑like constructs, layering them with Pyro and embedding a shard of Cryo at their cores. Channeling Anemo, she shot them at high speed. With Pyro coating their surfaces, the constructs blazed like meteors as they tore toward the ships. On impact, the Cryo within struck the Pyro element on the shell, triggering devastating Melt reactions that tore through the hulls in a cascade of fiery blasts.
The engines of the ship exploded under her assault, halting its advance toward the planet. Skidding through the vacuum of space, Lumine twisted her body and unleashed a slash of pure Imaginary energy, cutting the vessel apart into pieces.
"There goes another ship down," Lumine murmured before tapping her earpiece. "AI-chan, how many more legion ships are left?"
[There are still seven… Ahh, correction—four more ships.] AI-chan's cheerful voice replied. [Kiana, Sirin, Elysia, and Hyperion with AI-chan already took care of the other three!]
Lumine's lips curved into a small smile. "I see. Then mark the nearest one for me. I'll bring it down."
[Roger!!] AI-chan chirped.
A holoscreen blinked to life in front of her, highlighting the locations of the four remaining ships. "Hmm… just a bit more and we'll be done here."
Her gaze lowered briefly to the planet below. Her eyes softened. "Don't worry, Noah, Hajime. We've got things handled here, so…"
She turned sharply and flew toward her next target. "Go and do what you have to do with confidence."
Together, they were an overwhelming force no one could stop.
The Antimatter Legion found no advance.
Only annihilation.
—--
Back on the ground, Hajime, Alice, and Anisphia all wore dumbfounded expressions.
Alice blinked in disbelief. "Wait… just those four?"
"Does Hyperion and AI-chan count?" Noah tilted his head with a casual shrug. "Anyway, the legion force that came isn't much. Just a few thousands. Luckily there's no Lord Ravager, so the battle there will end soon."
Hajime's eyes twitched. "Just a few thousand? Really?!"
Anisphia let out a strangled sound. "Why do you say that like it's normal?!"
Noah raised a brow. "It's not like you couldn't handle it too~."
"Even still!!!!!" the three snapped in unison, glaring at their leader.
Hajime's cheek twitched; if his arms weren't occupied holding the breach, he might have smacked Noah. "You can't just casually say 'few thousand' like it's a picnic!"
Anisphia jabbed a finger at him. "That's still the Legion's invasion force, not something you just wave off!"
Alice held her head with a groan. "I swear, one day we're logging every single one of your 'minor threats' just to prove a point."
Noah snorted with a lopsided grin. "As if those small things would ever be an issue for us."
Silence.
Alice opened her mouth—then shut it again.
Hajime wanted to facepalm, but with his hands busy sealing the sky he only sighed. "...He's technically not wrong there."
Anisphia groaned. "Why does it actually sound acceptable when he says it?!"
At the side, the leaders of the Three Factions who overheard their exchange collectively gawked.
"'Not much,' he says. 'Just a few thousand,' he says." Azazel's face contorted in disbelief. "I need a drink. A strong one!"
Michael sighed, rubbing his temples. "Is this real? He's treating a world‑ending invasion force like it's nothing…"
"And here I thought Hajime‑chan was absurd…" Serafall muttered, looking up at the sky as if questioning the very logic of the universe.
Shemhazai groaned, clutching his head. "So this is the difference between those bound to one world… and those who walk the universe."
With his usual smirk, Noah's eyes swept over the crowd—from the leaders questioning their own beliefs to Hajime's companions: Ameno Sagiri, Ingvild Leviathan, Villhaze, and then… Ophis.
Wait… huh? Why is she here?! Noah's eyes snapped wide at the sight of the dragon god, who only tilted her head blankly back at him.
"…Oi, Hajime… why is she here?" Noah asked flatly, his gaze locked on Ophis.
Hajime, Alice, and Anisphia all blinked, then exchanged triumph smirks.
"Hehehe, so even our mighty Captain didn't see that coming," Anisphia giggled.
"Ara~ seems we managed to surprise our Captain," Alice added with a graceful laugh, covering her mouth as she moved to tend to Sagiri and Villhaze's injuries.
"Hmm! I'd say using our trump card(cookies) to invite Ophis was worth it!" Hajime chuckled, not even bothering to hide his grin. "Seeing that dumbfounded look on your face totally made my day!"
Noah's cheek twitched. This husband and wives combo…!!
"Oh, by the way, we'll be taking Ophis with us when we leave this world," Hajime added casually.
"Haa… hhhhm?.... WHAT did you just say?!" Noah turned to him in shock.
