------------------

Bounded by the chains of light, Katerea, Shalba, and Creuserey writhed and thrashed against the chains of light. They spat curses and poured every ounce of demonic energy they had left, even calling upon the power of infinity granted by Ophis's snakes. Yet the seal held firm, unyielding.

"This is impossible…!" Katerea hissed, her eyes wide with disbelief.

"How dare you do this to ME!" Shalba roared, his voice cracking with rage.

"Release us this instant and I will forgive you with your deaths!" Creuserey snarled, his body trembling against the light.

High above, Vali floated silently, watching the surreal spectacle. On one side, the so‑called descendants of the Maou, reduced to pitiful thrashing. On the other, the Infinite Dragon herself is being fed cookies and smothered with affection by Alice and Anisphia. His helmet hid his expression, but his silence spoke louder than words.

"…Am I dreaming?" Vali muttered, his voice lace with pure disbelief. "Did that princess's punch knock me out and send me into the dream world?"

Beside him, Sirzechs hovered with the same dazed expression. "I assure you, what you are seeing is real," he added. "I see it too… even if it feels impossible."

Vali let out a sigh, faint but unmistakable. "…The universe is insane."

Sirzechs chuckled softly, though his eyes softened as he looked down at the strange sight below. Absurd though it was, it was also the kind of peace he and the others had long wished to see.

The two Lucifers, descendant and successor, remained floating in the sky, watching the scene that defied every expectation of war and peace.

—-

Alice gently held out a cookie, her eyes twinkling with excitement.

"Ophis-chan, say ahhhh~," she coaxed sweetly, as if talking to a child.

Ophis blinked, then obediently opened her mouth without hesitation. "Ahhh."

She took the cookie and began munching slowly, her eyes half-lidded as though the entire world faded away before the simple joy of sweetness.

"Kyaaaa!~," Alice let out a squeal of delight. "She really did it! She's too precious!"

Gasper peeked nervously from behind Koneko. "I-is this really okay? I mean… it's Ophis, right?"

Kiba forced a small smile. "Since she doesn't mind… I suppose it's fine…?"

Irina tilted her head, baffled. "I-is it really that easy? Cookies?"

Asia clasped her hands together, her eyes shining. "Maybe… love and snacks are stronger than we thought."

Griselda chuckled, weary but amused. "Then should we suggest updating Church doctrine with this method?"

Even Vasco let out a grin. "Ha! Why not? It's refreshingly simple."

Shemhazai pinched the bridge of his nose. "...How exactly are we supposed to put this in the official report?"

The trailblazers who started this absurd sight cared little for their issues and more focused on coaxing their little dragon.

"She's adapting to cuddle life better than expected," Anisphia said smugly, sketchbook and pen already in hand. "Now I need to design Ophis-chan's room! Her dress, her accessories—everything!!"

Alice giggled, leaning closer to watch Ophis chew. "Make sure to add bunny pajamas. She'd look adorable."

Ophis blinked once, crumbs on her lips, then softly muttered, "...more cookies."

Azazel downed a bottle of liquor in one go, shaking his head. "This… this is so absurd. I just watched one of the most feared entities in existence get subdued with baked goods."

Serafall, still looking dazed, leaned toward Sona with her palm over her face. "....suddenly I feel it's better to back out of the sister sandwich plan…"

Sona twitched, whispering back, "Onee-sama, I just heard something incredibly suspicious…"

Gabriel, meanwhile, wore a strangely thoughtful expression. Michael noticed and glanced sideways. "Gabriel?"

"...should I also join them and follow him?" she murmured half to herself. "But that would mean leaving this world and my duties…. Ughhh… why is this so hard..?"

Azazel sputtered on his drink. "Wait.. don't tell me... even you are thinking of defecting over cookies!"

"It's not the cookie!!! it's about him," Gabriel admitted softly, her cheeks flushed as she turned her face away. Her wings trembled, feathers twitching nervously, while she mumbled the words under her breath.

But Hajime's expression suddenly tensed. His instincts flared, warning of danger greater than anything they had faced until now.

He stood abruptly, scanning the area, his sudden change shattered the lighthearted mood.

Lavinia's smile faltered as she stepped closer. "Hakkun? Is something wrong?"

"..Your Majesty?" Villhaze asked tensely, her dagger half-drawn.

Alice narrowed her eyes, recognizing his serious mode. "Hajime…?"

Anisphia's grip around Ophis loosened. "What do you feel?"

Ingvild leaned forward, worry etched on her face.

Sona's voice was sharp now, reading his expression. "Something's coming, isn't it?"

Sagiri's hand instinctively reached for her weapon. "He's gone completely tense. That means something is seriously wrong."

Around them, the leaders of the Three Factions fell silent, the tension in the atmosphere impossible to ignore.

Michael took a step forward, concern clear in his voice. "Hajime-dono… what do you sense?"

Azazel frowned, his usual tone gone. "Oi, oi… you're making us nervous here."

Hajime didn't answer, his eyes narrowing as they landed on the captured descendants.

Katerea. Shalba. Creuserey.

Still bound, yet their expressions twisted into wild, desperate smiles—the kind worn by those who had already lost everything and resolved to drag the world down with them. In their hands pulsed a familiar energy signature, unstable and dangerous. A Stellaron, one that should have been destroyed with Kokabiel, throbbed violently, its unstable core growing more erratic as the three poured their remaining power, even their lives, into it.

Katerea's voice rang out first, shrill and triumphant. "Did you really think Kokabiel obtained the Seed of Entropy(Stellaron) by chance? He was one of us! We gave him the Forbidden Fruit (Offshoot of Stellaron) to test its strength!"

Shalba laughed raggedly, his body trembling as blood seeped from his lips. "The Seed has been ours for centuries! Endless experiments, countless failures, millions of sacrifices! The holy sword project, the Naberius experiments, that halfling Leviathan at your side and countless more!! All of it part of our plan to claim the universe's power!"

Creuserey's hands shook as his body melted away, yet his grin never faltered. "And the Khaos Brigade succeeded! The Seed has borne fruit! Fueling it with our hatred, our despair, our very lives! we'll burn the world down with us!"

The Fruit pulsed violently, radiating power strong enough to unmake the world itself.

And then it exploded.

Reality broke.

Space cracked.

The chains of light snapped, tearing apart the three in a burst of crimson and shadow. Their bodies burned and melted as blood spilled, yet through the roar of chaos their laughter only grew louder.

Katerea shrieked wildly, her voice cracking with madness. "Let it all burn! Let this stupid world burn with us!!"

Shalba howled with manic delight, his eyes glowing with insanity. "This is your peace?! Choke on it and die!!"

Creuserey's voice, ragged and soaked in blood, carried nothing but venom. "Remember us—not as rulers, but as the curse you couldn't stop!"

Their cackling rose higher, unrepentant, until they vanished in the blinding flash of their own ruin.

"WHAT—?!" Hajime's voice cut short, his eyes snapping wide.

[WARNING: DIMENSIONAL INSTABILITY DETECTED]

The Void Archives spoke in urgent tones through the crew's terminal link:

[REALITY BARRIER BREACH—THRESHOLD EXCEEDED.]

[ANTIMATTER LEGION PRESENCE DETECTED AT PLANETARY ORBIT. RESPONSE LINKED TO STELLARON DISCHARGE.]

Hajime froze for a heartbeat, horror settling in. "The legion really came???!!!!…. Was that really a stellaron?!."

Alice's eyes widened, disbelief plain on her face. "...They really managed to make multiple copies of a Stellaron?!"

Anisphia's shoulders tensed, her voice cracking. "T-that should be impossible!! How—how could they even—?!"

The continued report of Void Archives answered their question:

[ANALYSIS: ENERGY SIGNATURE MATCHES PREVIOUSLY LOGGED STELLARON DISCHARGE DURING KOKABIEL INCIDENT WITH MINIMAL DIFFERENCE.]

[HYPOTHESIS: THE STELLARON FUNCTIONS LIKE A SEED, PLANTED AND NURTURED BY LEAKING IMAGINARY ENERGY FROM THE DIMENSION GAP. OVER TIME IT BORE FRUITS—COPIES OR FRAGMENTS OF THE ORIGINAL STELLARON ENERGY.]

[CONCLUSION: THE STELLARON OF THIS WORLD HAS MUTATED INTO A FRUIT-BEARING TREE OF DESTRUCTION.]

Gasps rippled through the leaders.

Azazel swore under his breath. "A tree… that makes Stellarons? That's insane."

Michael's expression hardened. "If this continues, the world itself will collapse."

Gabriel covered her lips, eyes trembling. "So many lives… all at risk because of this."

Even Serafall's voice lost its usual playfulness. "This is… way worse than any war."

For the first time since arriving in this world, cold sweat rolled down Hajime's back.

Everyone watched as tears in reality grew wider, and Quantum Shadows poured out in waves. First one, then five, then fifty—within seconds the ground shook under hundreds. Their eyes glowed eerily as they locked onto Azazel, Hajime, and the others, moving to erase anything alive.

"Incoming!! Everyone, prepare for battle!" Michael shouted, his voice cutting through the panic with commanding urgency.

Shemhazai unfolded his wings, dozens of light spears spinning into formation at his side. "Be on guard! We don't know how strong these things are!"

Azazel gritted his teeth, his tone dark. "Damn it… they really did break the world."

Gabriel's gaze shot upward, horror flashing in her eyes. "The monsters—they're spreading beyond the barrier!!"

Vali streaked forward in a flash of silver light. "Damn those three!!" he snarled. He caught a Quantum beast mid‑lunge, slamming it aside, but with a single brutal sweep the creature smashed through his armor and sent him flying. "Khh—!"

The collapse came like a tide no one could stop.

The sky cracked.

The stars bent.

The entire world bled.

Magical or mundane, it didn't matter—these beasts attacked everything that moved.

—--

Reports flooded in from every corner of the globe. No matter the country or city, whether wealthy capitals or simple villages, the Quantum Shadows descended without mercy, striking down anything they saw. Skies turned red as cities burned, skyscrapers crumbled, and highways split apart under their claws.

Police and military forces fought back desperately, their bullets and shells rattling the air, but with a single sweep of those monstrous bodies, squads were erased in moments. Even fortified bases and missile silos fell, their defenses torn apart like paper as the tide surged over every continent.

Radio chatter bled through the chaos.

In Asia, great cities like Tokyo, Beijing, and Seoul erupted into chaos, their skylines shattered as towers collapsed one after another.

"This is Tokyo Command—we've lost Shinjuku, we can't hold—!" a voice screamed over open comms before cutting out.

"Tokyo Defense Line breached! The JSDF is falling back, repeat, falling back—!"

In Europe, the streets of London, Paris, and Berlin became killing grounds, holy cathedrals and fortresses falling silent under the monsters' roars.

"London has gone dark! The Thames barrier collapsed—casualties everywhere!!"

"Berlin wall defenses down—civilians still trapped—!" came a desperate German officer's cry before static drowned him out.

"Moscow Command Center!! we're surrounded. If anyone can hear this, we'll fight to the last!"

Across the Americas, New York's avenues burned, Los Angeles was swallowed in fire, and Brazil's coastlines drowned in beasts that surged from the sea.

"Times Square is gone, overrun!! We can't hold—aghhh!!"

"Central Command to all units—we've lost contact with Washington D.C.! Evacuations failed—repeat, evacuations failed!"

South America, the once popular tourist places are burning.

"Rio de Janeiro in flames! We can't evacuate the beaches, the monsters are too many!"

"We can't reach the evac boats! The beaches are lost—!" before vanishing into silence.

Africa's deserts split as colossal quadrupeds rampaged, while in the Middle East, temples and bustling markets alike were swept away.

"Cairo command—The army have collapsed—anyone, please respond!!"

"Delhi is collapsing! Hospitals overrun—we can't hold....!"

A soldier's last words came through a dying line. "If anyone hears this… keep fighting… don't let it end here—"

Even the frozen north and deep jungles were not spared, the beasts overrunning every frontier as terrified voices begged for help, only to be silenced one by one.

Lifeless bodies littered the streets, crying children clutching their parents, mothers wailing as they held their fallen sons, fathers dragging loved ones through the smoke.

Families screamed, their pleas drowning in static. "Someone, please! My daughter—"

"My son!! My son!!!"

"Angela!! where are you?!"

"Don't leave me here! Somebody, anyone!!"

"The shelters… they said it was safe… why isn't it safe?!"

"Help! The fire's everywhere, we can't get out!!"

"Papa, don't let go of my hand… please…"

Live broadcasts flickered across shattered screens as anchors screamed before being swallowed by static. "This is BBC—no, they're inside the studio, they're—" crashroar [signal lost].

A Japanese reporter's voice trembled. "This is NHK… the tower—Tokyo Tower has—aghhh—!"

An American channel dissolved into chaos. "CNN reporting—monsters have breached the Pentagon—God, they're in the newsroom—!"

One by one, every transmission cut mid-air, replaced by silence.

Only the distant roars of monsters consuming everything.

The world trembled as the tide of Quantum Shadows swept across continents, leaving behind only fire, ruin, and despair.

—--

Kuoh Town…

The townspeople stared in terror at the broken sky. As ground zero of the breach, Kuoh bore the largest crack in the entire world, its jagged light splitting the heavens wide open.

"...H-hey, look! Something's coming out of the hole!!" a man shouted, his voice breaking.

Countless Quantum Shadows poured forth, swooping toward the city proper and residential areas. Their screeches rattled windows and shook buildings as wings blotted out the sun. In moments, panic swept through the streets.

"Mama, what are those things?!" a child cried, clutching her mother's skirt.

"Run! Get inside—now!!" someone screamed as the first wave smashed into houses, crushing rooftops with claws and maws.

Sirens wailed, cars overturned, and people scattered in every direction. Some prayed, others screamed, while the unlucky were torn apart in the chaos.

A child stumbled on the broken pavement, her tiny frame frozen in fear as the shadow of a Quantum beast cover her. She didn't even have time to cry before massive claws rose high, ready to strike her down. But before they could fall, the monster was swept aside by a towering, three‑meter‑tall doll of made of ice, shaped like a princess in a crystalline dress.

The girl's eyes went wide, reflecting the frozen giant before her. Then she flinched as a cool but gentle hand touched her shoulder. Turning slowly, she found a beautiful older girl in a white, witch‑like dress standing protectively at her side.

"Hello, cute little one," the stranger greeted with a sweet smile, her tone light and soothing despite the chaos around them. "You aren't hurt by the big baddie, right?"

The child shook her head timidly. "W‑who are you, big sister?"

The girl chuckled softly, patting the child's head with a reassuring hand. "Hmm? You can call me… the Magical Princess Lavi!"

"Woaah!" The child's eyes sparkled with wonder, her earlier fear forgotten.

"Hana!!!" a voice cried out. The little girl turned to see her mother sprinting through the smoke, tears in her eyes. She fell into her mother's embrace the moment they met.

"Mama..!" Hana sobbed, clinging tightly.

The mother looked up at the smiling Lavinia, her expression a mix of gratitude and suspicion. "I don't know who you are… but thank you for saving my daughter!"

"You're welcome," Lavinia replied warmly, as her sacred gear Absolute Demise crushed another beast behind them. Frost spread across the street as her Sacred Gear flared with power, freezing all remaining monsters around. "But please—go now. It's still dangerous here."

The mother nodded quickly, clutching Hana as they retreated.

"Bye‑bye, Onee‑chan!! Beat the baddies!!" the child called out, waving brightly despite the fear still in her voice.

Lavinia waved after the mother and child before tapping her communicator. "Tobi, my street is clear. I managed to save some civilians, but… the enemies are still everywhere."

"Good work, Lavi!" Tobio's voice answered firmly. "Natsume, status?"

"Griffin confirms the 4th to 9th streets are clear," Natsume replied, her voice steady but tense. "Kouki and Shigune are wrapping up the 12th and 16th. We can move to the next block soon."

Sae's calm tone followed. "I'll handle the shopping street. Everyone else focus on the more crowded areas first."

"Roger!" The Slash/Dog team moved in formation, determination ringing in their voices as they raced to save as many as they could.

—--

Meanwhile, at the city's shopping mall, Griselda, Irina, Vasco, and Dulio held the line against wave after wave.

Griselda lifted Excalibur high, holy light bursting from the blade. "There are too many of them!" she cried, shielding the frightened civilians behind her.

Vasco answered with a grim nod, cleaving a beast apart in a single strike. "Even then we can't stop here! We have to hold on!"

Irina jump, her Excalibur flashing as she cut down a monster lunging for a family. "Clear! Get inside the mall, quickly! Don't come back out!"

"Th-thank you! Thank you!!" a mother sobbed as she pulled her children past the barricade.

"My shop… my home…" a man muttered in shock, being dragged to safety by another civilian before he could freeze.

Xenovia landed beside Irina, Durandal shining with holy brilliance. "I've secured the other side! Civilians there are safe for now—let's focus on the monsters!"

Irina managed a breathless smile. "Thanks, partner."

Above them, Dulio's voice rang out cheerfully as winds roared at his command. He spread his arms, a storm swirling at his back. "Come on then—winds, shred them to pieces!!"

A teenage boy clutched at his father's sleeve as they rushed inside, whispering in disbelief. "Angels and knights… they're really fighting for us."

—--

Sona, along with her peerage, was on the other side of the town protecting the business district. Her eyes were sharp as she raised her voice over the chaos. "Everyone, spread out in teams of two. Priority is rescuing civilians! Don't waste your strength in unnecessary fights!"

"Yes, President!" Tsubaki responded crisply, naginata spinning as she shielded retreating civilians. "We're on it!"

Tomoe drew her katana, pouring magic into the blade until it shine with light. She nodded firmly. "I'll cut down anything that tries to break through!"

"Let's go, Tomoe-chan!" Reya called, already preparing a defensive spell to cover her partner's advance.

Saji gritted his teeth as fiery chains erupted, binding a Quantum Shadow tight while siphoning its energy. "Momo, now!"

Momo stepped forward, hands glowing as her magic burst outward in a blazing volley. "We will not let you destroy our home, you monsters!!" she shouted, her voice fierce despite the sweat running down her brow.

Ruruko sprinted past, knocking her fists together. "Tsubasa-senpai and I are moving to intercept the monsters at the south entrance! We'll hold them back!" she shouted, determination blazing in her voice.

"Leave it to us, President!!" Tsubasa added, flashing a sharp grin even in the chaos.

"Be careful and don't overdo it!" Sona called after them, her voice carrying calm authority that cut through the explosions. "Keep the civilians behind the wards! Every life matters!"

A nearby shopkeeper, clutching his wounded arm, gasped as a barrier shimmered over him. "J‑just who are you people?" he stammered, eyes wide with fear and awe.

"It doesn't matter who they are," his wife shot back firmly, holding onto him. "They're protecting us with everything they have!"

"Everyone, hurry to the wards! Don't look back!" Tsubaki urged, her voice steady as she guided a group of civilians toward safety.

Screams and explosions still can be heard around but the Sitri peerage with their discipline made a tiny line of order holding back overwhelming chaos.

—--

The Gremory peerage, meanwhile, were locked in battle at the residential district, fighting with everything they had to protect the townspeople.

Rias landed with force, throwing Balls of Destruction that obliterated a charging Quantum beast. Her crimson hair whipped around her as she barked commands. "Akeno, Kiba— go and clear the park! We'll use it as a temporary shelter. Asia, tend the injured! Gasper, assist Asia—your barriers are holding strong! Koneko, Issei—guide the civilians in the north to Asia, there are wounded people there!"

Akeno gave a serene smile, though lightning already crackled at her fingertips. "Understood, Buchou!" she said, before soaring off.

Kiba's sword was drawn as he sprinted past her. "I'll go on ahead, Akeno-san!"

Asia knelt beside a man that was pinned under rubble, her healing glow from her sacred gear spread. "Everyone… please, stay safe… I'll heal you all, just hold on!"

"I-I understand, Buchou!" Gasper stammered, his eyes darting nervously as he pushed his power to expand the barrier across the park. "I'll scan for the gravely injured!"

Koneko stepped forward, her small form radiating strength. "Let's go, Issei-senpai."

Issei clenched his fists, the Boosted Gear flaring bright red. "Boost! Got it!" he shouted, his voice carrying determination as he charged forward.

—--

High above Kuoh, Serafall soared, her magic flaring as she unleashed a storm of twinkling iceflakes that exploded against the flying Quantum Shadows. Her voice rang out, filled with determination. "No matter what, I will never let our precious world break apart now!"

A heartbeat later, Sirzechs arrived, his aura igniting like a crimson star. A thousand orbs of destruction swirled around him, then shooting forward in a tidal wave of annihilation. His voice thundered over the chaos. "That's right—we will hold it together!"

Vali shook off the earlier blow, wings of light spreading wide as he invoked Divine Dividing. White scales of power folded the quantum beast, until one by one they vanished into nothing. He snarled, defiant. "You might've taken me out earlier, but I'm still not done yet!!"

The three of them stood side by side in the sky, their powers clashing against the endless tide, their voices carrying hope to the terrified people below.
