Chapter 38 - Chapter 38: The Awakening of the Hero - Part Two: Hope

In the hospital, specifically in one of the rooms, four doctors and three nurses stood, their faces filled with tension and anxiety. They were facing a case unlike anything they had encountered before.

With the advancement of science and the emergence of "Heka" and the artificial intelligence system created by humans, illnesses had drastically decreased. People became healthier thanks to this progress. Any minor or non-dangerous illness would be instantly treated by the system.

As a result, the medical profession became endangered, no longer common or profitable as before. However, the four major organizations realized that the disappearance of this profession could be a future disaster. So, they launched intensive campaigns to support doctors, raise their salaries, and transform medicine into an active profession that collaborates with AI in treating diseases even before they appear.

Thus, this era became known as "The Age of Humans Without Illness," one of the greatest achievements of humanity, politicians, and rulers. Therefore, the emergence of a case that the AI system couldn't analyze or treat was considered extremely dangerous.

One of the senior doctors, who seemed to hold both authority and great experience, asked:

— What are the tests of this boy? What illness does he have?

Another doctor hesitated to answer, then took a deep breath and said:

— Nothing, Doctor.

The senior doctor was stunned by the answer. His face turned serious as he responded angrily:

— Are you joking? Are you taking the patient's life lightly?

The other doctor tried to explain:

— Sir, I'm not trying to joke. Truly, there's nothing wrong with this boy. No issues with the heart, lungs, or any other organ. His health seems completely fine. His test results match those of any person at the ninth level.

He then handed the test report to the senior doctor.

The latter quickly grabbed the papers, read them carefully, then exclaimed in shock:

— Really… nothing? Then why is his heart beating at this insane rate?

A third doctor, who appeared more calm, responded:

— Maybe it's due to a rare disease?

The senior doctor replied:

— Even rare diseases, classified under the term "Rare-Common," show symptoms. But here, there's nothing but a rapid heartbeat.

Another doctor stepped in and confirmed the third doctor's point, saying:

— I think so too, Doctor. In fact, the system sent a report and analysis including a phrase that states the patient entered a state of "Deep Sleep" in a strange and dangerous manner.

Everyone paused at this information and began scrutinizing the report. The doctor confirmed:

— Indeed, the analysis confirms he's in a "Deep Sleep" state. But what's strange is that his heart rate is increasing and growing stronger.

The senior doctor looked at them, sighed, and said with a defeated tone:

— You're telling me there's nothing we can do for this boy… a boy whose life hasn't even begun.

He sighed again:

— Even AI and humans together can't help him.

Then, raising his head toward the sky, he said:

— It's in Your hands now, ya Allah. Have mercy on this boy.

He turned to one of the nurses:

— Have you contacted his family?

The nurse nodded silently.

A heavy silence filled the room.

Then a new nurse asked her colleague curiously:

— What does the term "Rare-Common" mean?

Her colleague understood that the term wasn't familiar to the general public. She sighed and replied:

— "Rare-Common" is a term that emerged when rare diseases started increasing. In the past, rare illnesses appeared once in a thousand cases or more. But after "Heka" emerged, some of these diseases began appearing among three out of a hundred people or even less. They're still rare, but they've become more frequent, and we can't classify them as ordinary illnesses.

The new nurse nodded, having understood.

At that moment, one of the devices beeped, and a fourth doctor shouted with joy and surprise:

— That's impossible! Look at this, Doctor!

The senior doctor turned to him:

— What is it?

The doctors rushed to the device, where the fourth doctor pointed to it. It showed a sudden spike synchronized with the boy's heartbeat. They all looked, their faces now full of astonishment and hope.

Then the senior doctor asked the nurse:

— What is this boy's Egyptian ethnic percentage?

The nurse quickly moved, searched the patient's file, her hand trembling, then said:

— 97%, Doctor.

Happiness and surprise appeared on the doctors' faces, but they quickly remembered that the boy's life was still in danger.

The senior doctor spoke firmly:

— You all know this is confidential. I will send an urgent report to the Al-Adl Organization.

He hurried out to send the report, while the nurses looked at one another with curiosity but remained silent to avoid getting into trouble.

The new nurse asked:

— Why is the Egyptian ethnic percentage important? I'm also 97%.

Her colleague quickly replied:

— The percentage alone isn't what matters—there are even people with 100%. What matters are other factors… and if my guess is right, this is amazing. But I can't tell you. It's for your own good.

The experienced nurse showed a hint of hidden joy, revealing her deep knowledge in medicine.

---

At the Al-Adl Organization, in the office of its president, the man sat, lost in thought:

— Where can I find someone to lead the Sixth Medical Organization? Those fools left me with this heavy burden.

If only he was still here… then he remembered the past.

He sighed and said:

— No matter. The important thing now is to find the right person.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, and it opened quickly.

The president was surprised, knowing that this door was only opened this way in urgent cases.

He looked sternly at the secretary, silently warning him that if this wasn't important, there would be consequences.

He asked:

— Did you find a candidate to lead the Fifth Organization?

The secretary replied:

— No, sir. But we found something more important.

The president raised an eyebrow:

— What?

The secretary answered:

— We found someone who carries the legacy of an ancient Egyptian god.

The president stood up at once, grabbed his jacket, and rushed out:

— Do you realize what you're saying? ...Are you sure?

— Yes, sir. A report has already been sent to us.

The secretary handed over the report, and the president read it carefully, then said:

— Prepare the car immediately!

— The car is already ready, sir. We've taken all necessary steps and prevented any leak of the news.

The president entered the car and immediately made a call through the system to four other people.
