After waiting for a few hours outside the operating theater, Zoey finally walked out slowly.
"Mommy."
Kayden and Kayla ran over to her, but they did not hug her for fear of tiring her out even more. "Mommy, you are amazing!"
Zoey took one look at her two thoughtful children and the fatigue on her face disappeared immediately.
She pinched their cheeks and asked, "When did you all arrive? Have you been waiting for a long time?"
"Not long, Mommy. Just around two to three hours, that's all." Kayla shook her head and said, "It's all right, we know you're busy helping people give birth. We can wait."
Kayden nodded in agreement. "That's right, Mommy." The two of them looked really serious as they spoke. Zoey's heart melted at the adorable sight of her children. "That's so sweet of you."
She bent down to carry the both of them but got rejected. "Mommy, we can walk on our own. We know you must be tired. You need a good rest."
