"All right."
Zoey nodded and then said, "But I have another operation at 6 p.m., so we will have to eat fast."
Leo frowned. "That's too rushed. You're gonna get indigestion."
He turned and glanced at Dr. Ziegler as he was talking.
"Dr. Fuller, you've just finished a difficult operation. You must be tired. I can arrange for another doctor to handle your next operation. Why don't you go back and take a good rest? You can come back on duty tomorrow."
Dr. Ziegler coughed and added, "Don't worry. There are still lots of good doctors in the hospital."
Zoey shook her head. "Dr. Ziegler, I'm fine. The other doctors have their own share of operations to handle every day. If they had to take over mine too, it would just overload them."
"But-"
"Don't worry about Mr. Yancey."
She looked at Leo and said, "Isn't that right, Mr. Yancey?"
"Yes."
Since his wife-to-be had said so, there was nothing much he could do about it.
