The smile on Rebecca's face was so wide that she could barely squeeze it out.
"Mom, how come? I am the one in the entire Yancey family who is most looking forward to Shawn and Leo finding a girl."
She said reluctantly, "How have I, as their aunt, treated them since they were young? Everyone saw it, right?"
She was a bit fainthearted when she said that.
Old Mrs. Yancey laughed and said in a meaningful way, "Yes, everyone saw it in their eyes."
If Rebecca was really good to the two of them, would they not give her the slightest bit of respect?
Feelings were all mutual. She didn't show sincerity, so she shouldn't blame others for treating her with pretense.
Rebecca's eyes flashed, and she didn't dare to talk any more nonsense.
"Grandma, my mother doesn't mean anything other than that she is just worried that you won't have anything left with you after you have finished giving away your precious treasure," Joanne said on Rebecca's behalf.
