The expression on Rebecca's face froze, and the smile she squeezed out was even uglier than crying.
"Kayla, you kids can make jokes now?" She laughed awkwardly and said, "I have lived to such an old age, so what good things have I not seen before? How could I covet something for my niece?
Kayla patted her small chest and said, "Luckily, Aunt doesn't want to take Mommy and Godmother's things for herself, otherwise what if Mommy and the girls like it and don't want to give it?"
As she said that, she also had a relieved look on her face. Her little adult look made the adults laugh.
Rebecca also laughed, but in her heart she wanted to dismember Kayla. It was impossible to vent her anger.
