Seiichiro Sakata and Kenta Inoue, though slightly frightened by Ryuji's current appearance, immediately grabbed onto the threads he'd shot out.
Ryuji, seeing that all three had a firm grip, exerted immense force, pulling them sharply backward. The three were lifted into the air, propelled towards him.
Ryuji moved swiftly aside, allowing Zenitsu, Seiichiro Sakata, and Kenta Inoue to fly past him before landing, rather unceremoniously, inside the carriage.
Seiichiro Sakata was the first to hit the floor. Before he could recover, Kenta Inoue landed on top of him, followed by Zenitsu, who landed on top of Kenta Inoue.
Thanks to the cushioning effect of the two men beneath him, Zenitsu was unharmed. However, Seiichiro Sakata, who served as the unfortunate human cushion, nearly had the breath knocked out of him.
"Get...off! I'm going to die!" Seiichiro Sakata managed to gasp out.
Zenitsu quickly stood up, brushing himself off, and exclaimed, "We made it!"
After Zenitsu stood, Kenta Inoue slowly got up, adjusting his glasses.
Seiichiro Sakata turned over, letting out a long sigh of relief. He didn't immediately stand, still catching his breath.
Tanjiro, ever kind, offered a hand to Seiichiro Sakata, asking, "Are you alright, Seiichiro?"
Understanding Tanjiro's offer, Seiichiro Sakata took his hand and used it to pull himself to his feet.
"I'm fine, thank you," Seiichiro Sakata said simply.
Ryuji had already entered the carriage from the outdoor platform and closed the door. He had returned to his normal state, no longer in his Demonified form.
Seeing Ryuji enter, Zenitsu pointed at his back in alarm, "I saw Senpai Ryuji turn into a monster! It was terrifying!"
After closing the door, Ryuji turned to face everyone, calmly saying to Zenitsu, "A monster? You must have been hallucinating."
Seeing that Ryuji was back to normal, Zenitsu was puzzled. He asked Seiichiro Sakata and Kenta Inoue, "Seiichiro, Kenta, you also saw Senpai Ryuji turn into a monster, right?!"
Seiichiro Sakata and Kenta Inoue looked at Ryuji, now back to his normal self, unsure of what to say. They both shook their heads.
Ryuji smiled faintly and teased Zenitsu, "It was dark, and you're a scaredy-cat. Your fear probably made you see a monster."
Ryuji knew that Seiichiro Sakata and Kenta Inoue had seen his Demonified form, but their denial led him to believe they were still unsure if what they saw was real or a hallucination.
Because it was night, and Ryuji had been facing away from the carriage lights, Seiichiro Sakata and Kenta Inoue couldn't be certain if what they saw was real.
Only Tanjiro knew the truth, but seeing that Ryuji didn't want to reveal it, he remained silent.
