"Perfect! Now that's the full look, elegant, refined, and absolutely stunning," Kate said, giving Claire a thorough once-over and showering her with praise. "But you still need makeup; otherwise, all those jewels and that gown will go to waste."
Just as she finished speaking, a knock sounded at the door.
"Come in," Gilbert said.
The door opened, and Butler Lo entered with a few young men and women.
"Mr. Watson, the makeup artists have arrived."
"Good. Get started," Gilbert instructed calmly. "Do it well and you'll be rewarded. Mess it up and you'll be punished." As he spoke, his phone rang, and he stepped outside to take the call.
"Yay! You'd better make my mommy super pretty today, she looks amazing already!" Dean said coolly, his expression uncannily similar to Gilbert's.
Everyone burst into laughter.
To keep the children from getting in the way, Kate decided to take them out for a while.
