I dragged in deep, raspy breaths, and let them out through my mouth in a whoosh. The paper trembled lightly on my grasp while my head suddenly became clouded with murky thoughts.
How true can this be? Is it wise to pursue it, or even care? After all these years why is this just coming up?
I sat on the bed, suddenly feeling weak. For years, I have questioned my very existence, especially in regards to my biological parents, and found nothing. Not even the private detectors were able to find anything about them, not even a clue. And now this sheet of paper is offering to give me all of that in a moment.
I had to decide whether or not I wanted to know about my biological parents, and I had to decide really fast. I had to weigh the pros and cons of both options, and then make a decision, and I had to do all of that within the hour.
First, I must make myself focus more by stopping this wild spinning of my head and thoughts
