Chapter 17 - Ch. 017 - Not Yet Done [2]

After getting a good night's rest, I resumed building my Force Core. This time, I had another theory which I wanted to try out.

Since some areas of my sphere were still gas and semi-solid, what if I focus on those areas instead of focusing on the whole sphere? But here's the problem: I have to equal the areas with those that were solid already, or else if I don't, my Force Core would look like a circular object with an unequal surface.

But, as simple as it sounds, it was hard putting the theory to test.

At first, I let the chains collect only a small amount of energy around me. When they connected themselves to the energies, the chains pulled them at the areas where it was still stuck to gas matter.

First, I will focus on transforming the gas area to semi-solid so that I could put an equal amount of energy to all the semi-solid areas.

Focusing on the gas areas was easy. In a few seconds, most of the gas was now semi-solid. But the second part, transforming the semi-solid to match the 10% solid sphere was the hardest. No matter how small the amount of energy I tried to transfer in those areas, they don't seem to be changing at all.

Frustration was about to arise, but I took a deep breath to calm myself and resumed when my head was clear again.

I tried collecting a tiny amount of energy, but it didn't improve at all. I was about to halt before I experienced Energy Poisoning, but a revelation suddenly came to my head.

This may sound crazy and impossible, but what if I break down the energies to a size of matter? Putting a huge amount of energy to the semi-solid area wouldn't fit without affecting the solid matter around them. While putting a small amount of energy will only dissolve it instead of joining the fray to make them solid.

It does sound hard and impossible, but it won't hurt to try.

After sending out my plan to the chains, they pushed themselves against the energies. Instead of collecting a certain amount, I had ordered them to gather as much energy as they could. Once they gathered a huge amount of energy, they pulled them back to my sternum. However, before the chains could retract the energies to the semi-solid areas, a second group of chains with sharp blades on their ends cut the energies into small sizes. The amount of energy was still the same, it just became smaller to fit into the semi-solid areas.

Then, a third group of chains whose job is to carefully place the tiny sized energies to the semi-solid areas connected themselves to the energies and gently placed them to the semi-solid areas without affecting the solid areas surrounding them.

After a few minutes of teamwork, the semi-solid area was now transformed into a solid area, blending with its fellow solid areas.

Perfect.

I repeated the same process, same strategy, until my semi-solid core looked almost like a true Force Core. The process took about an hour, and I also took breaks between each semi-solid area I turned into solid before moving to the next territory.

After an hour, I moved on to the last area.

I slowly inhaled and exhaled to calm myself and clear my head so I could focus on the last area.

Then, I began the grand finale.

The first group of chains collected a huge amount of energy around me. They pulled them back to my sternum while a second group of chains with sharp blades on their ends cut the energies into small sizes. Then, the third group of chains linked themselves to the small sized energies and carefully placed them to the last semi-solid area.

Then, as soon as the semi-solid area blended with the rest of my core, the solid core in my sternum glowed in different colors. All the energies in my surroundings reacted joyfully as if happy to see a new Force Core born after three years of struggling.

The glowing solid core beamed more brightly. The core sucked in all the energies in my room until cracks began to appear.

No, no, no! What is happening? Why is it cracking?

I tried to stop my core from taking more energy before it gets completely demolished, but it was too late. The cracks around my core became larger, spreading in a blink of an eye. I felt my core was about to explode due to the overload it was experiencing, but no matter what I tried, I couldn't stop it from sucking more energy.

When my Force Core was overloaded, my body exploded.
