After the meeting with the Head and Lady of the Luminosity family, I immediately informed the maids, Guardians, and butlers of their arrival.
'Thanks, Hoshuka. We will make sure everything will be prepared before they return.' The head butler of the Luminosity family, Banther, said through the Wi-Fi Link.
'Good. Hoshuka out.'
Banther has been the head butler of the Luminosity family since I was still in training. He was my drill instructor who taught us how to manipulate Force while fighting in close combat at the same time. He was strict and perfectionist. If he sees a mistake, he will fail them on the spot without giving them another chance.
I disliked him for that. But, when we arrived after six months of being in the frontlines, he was the first to welcome us with a warm smile in the house. Seeing my old drill instructor smile warmly as he welcomed us to the family still creeps me out. But his loyalty to the Luminosity family was strong and unbreakable.
I heard that there was a time that he got kidnapped and tortured to force him to speak about the secrets of the family, yet he didn't falter. Instead, he endured the torture for seven days until General Luminosity rescued him from the ruthless hands of the kidnappers.
Banther may be strict and angry all the time, but his loyalty is as strong as steel when it comes to the family. That's why I trust Banther the most whenever I am away from the house to lead the battalion of maids and butlers.
After the Force Gate's cooldown, I nodded to the Guardians who were on either side of the gate to teleport us directly to the house of Luminosity. One of the guards turned around and began to press the keypad which was attached to the pillar. After a few seconds of messing with the keys, the Force Gate's color changed from red to green, indicating that the gate is ready to be used.
I turned to the husband and wife and bowed my head while gesturing to them to enter the gate. "The Force Gate is now ready, sir and ma'am."
Sir Benedict nodded and stepped in the gate first, which was followed by Lady Christina. Then, I stepped inside as well, just behind the two lovely birds.
Our surroundings shifted from HQ to the front door of the house of Luminosity. Ten maids and butlers were lined on either side of the stairs, their heads lowered to show respect to the Head and Lady of the Luminosity family.
"Welcome back, Sir and Lady Luminosity." They said in unison.
Two butlers on either side of the entrance opened the door widely, revealing the lobby of the house. Everyone in the floor including all the guests stood up and lowered their heads to show respect to the General of the Zolgarian Army and to the Lady of the house, while Guardians saluted their highest-ranking officer.
Sir Benedict saluted the Guardians back and they began to walk towards the Force Gate.
Each step the couples took were soft and elegant, yet the air around them was heavy and powerful. Those who were near the couples had a hard time breathing, while some almost fainted.
They reached the Force Gate, and the Guardians did their job to activate the gate. When the gate turned green, they stepped inside the gate while I stood behind them.
As the area slowly transformed, Sir Benedict spoke.
"It's been a while since I returned to our home. I missed this place." He sighed and showed a warm smile which he quickly replaced with a stern face.
But lady Christina was the opposite. She didn't hide her emotions and smiled. "True. Ever since the Royal family gave us this mission, we have been so busy that it's been a while since we got home." She looks at Sir Benedict. "Are you ready to meet your child?"
Sir Benedict gulped. "I am."
"Good." Lady Christina chuckled.
The gate led us to the floor where the young master is residing. The couples walked side by side while I was pacing behind them. The maids and butlers, as well as the Guardians on the floor, stopped what they were doing when they saw the couples walk on the hallway. The maids and butlers bowed their heads while the Guardians saluted them.
"Carry on, all of you." Sir Benedict said after he returned the salute to the Guardians.
We arrived in front of a huge oakwood door. Two Guardians saluted the General and he returned the salute. Then, they opened the door, revealing a spacious living room inside. Of course, this living room can be used as a war room in case of emergency. How'd I know this? Banther told us while he showed us the rooms on this floor.
At the corner of the room, Banther was standing still with his back straight. The head of the butlers was in his early 50s. He has brown hair with some gray streaks showing off his aging which was slicked back. He has wrinkled skin due to two reasons: his age and scars from his experience as a Guardian back when he was young. He wore a black suit with white collared shirt and a black ribbon tied around his neck. He also wore round eyeglasses to make up for his almost blind vision.
But despite his age and weak looks, Banther is the most powerful Guardian in this house.
"It is good to see you again, Banther." Sir Benedict said as he approached Banther.
Banther lowered his head. "It truly has been a while, sir."
"Relax my old comrade." Sir Benedict patted his shoulders. "You and I have been together through a lot of hellish war. Thanks to you, I am still alive."
Banther smiled. "I care for you after all, General."
After greeting each other and catching up to one another for a few minutes, Sir Benedict glanced at my way. "Bring him in."
"Roger that, sir." I nodded and went out of the room to bring the young master in. After a few seconds, I returned with the young master beside me.
"My baby!" Lady Christina stood up and quickly ran to hug her child. "Mommy missed you! I heard what happened. I am so sorry that we weren't there to see you form a Force Core. It must've been a painful process."
The young master, Arthur, smiled awkwardly. "It's okay, mom. I missed you too. Also, I am okay thanks to Hoshuka and the rest of the zolgarians here in the house. They helped me recover after getting my Force Core." He said, giving his mother a warm smile to reassure her.
Lady Christina was shocked at the young master's manners. She looked at me and I just shrugged.
'I have no idea, Lady Luminosity.' I actually said via Wi-Fi Link.
"Ahem." Sir Benedict said aloud which turned our heads at him. He looked at his son with warmth. Soon, his stern expression turned into a soft smile. "My son."
"Father." Arthur said.
Sir Benedict stood up and approached Arthur. He kneeled down so his eyes could be leveled at him. "I'm sorry for not being there with you, my child."
Arthur smiled and hugged his father. "It's okay. I know how busy you are, dad. And what you're doing brings peace to this world."
We were all surprised at his answer. We were expecting the young master to lash out to his father, ask him countless questions of where he has been, and such. But rather than acting like that, the young master was… calm and understanding.
The father and the son hugged each other, followed by the mother which lasted for almost five minutes. After that, they sat down on the couch to talk with Arthur.
"So, we heard you have formed a Force Core?" Sir Benedict asked.
Arthur nodded. "Yes, dad. Is it weird for someone my age to have a fully formed Force Core?" He asked.
Sir Benedict chuckled. "Well, you are the first to do it, which makes you special, my son."
"Really? Is that why everyone was surprised?" He asked.
"Of course. I mean, no one has ever achieved something like you did at an early age, baby. You are the first zolgarian in the history of this world to ever have a fully formed Force Core at the age of three." Lady Christina replied.
"So, what will I do now?" Arthur asked.
The couples looked at each other before answering the young master's question.
"It is up to you, son. You decide your fate." Sir Benedict replied.
"Now that you have a Force Core, you have to take care of it until it becomes strong. Having a strong Force Core means having the power to fight for what you want, baby." Lady Christina added.
The young master stared at the ground. Then he looked at his parents with a wide, sincere grin that reached his ears. "Then, I want to grow stronger so I can protect my parents!"
His answer left the couples shocked, but they regained their cool and smiled at the young master. "Is that so? Then, we will entrust our life to you, our son. So, grow stronger until then, okay?" Sir Benedict spoke.
Arthur nodded. "I will, dad!"
"You know, after pondering for a while now, you know what you are, baby?" Lady Chrstina asked.
The young master tilted his head. "What am I, mom?"
"A prodigy. You are a prodigy, Arthur." She said with a candid smile and earnest answer, which the young master blushed in joy. "Thats why... If you want to protect us, grow stronger for us."
Lady Christina hugged Arthur tightly. Then, followed by Sir Benedict. The family embraced each other until the Force surrounding them embraced them as well with love and warmth.
"I will, mom." Arthur said.
