"The first Captain of Division One is Anna."
For a brief moment the room went still.
Anna herself blinked in surprise. She had been standing quietly near the wall as she usually did, maintaining the same calm and respectful posture she always kept whenever Gabriel was present. When her name left his mouth, she actually looked behind her for a moment as if expecting someone else with the same name to step forward.
Then she realized he was looking directly at her.
"Master… me?" she asked carefully.
Gabriel nodded once. "Yes."
Several people in the room exchanged looks. Anna had been known as Gabriel's personal maid since he arrived. She followed him everywhere, handled messages, and managed many tasks around the mansion. Most had simply assumed she was part of his household staff rather than someone meant to hold command.
She lowered her head slightly. "I am already serving as your personal attendant."
