The room fell quiet the moment Gabriel stepped in.
He did not hurry. His steps were steady as he walked to the front, his eyes moving across the gathered members only once before he stopped. Sophie stood at his side not long after, calm as always, while the others straightened in their seats and waited.
Gabriel looked at them for a brief moment and then spoke.
"Before anything else, the name Eastern Camp no longer exists. From today onward, this place will be called New Dawn."
Gabriel did not give them time to dwell on it before continuing.
"This place will not remain a loose survivor camp. It will operate under a structured system from this point onward. Not completely military, but close enough that everyone understands their place, their responsibilities, and who they answer to."
