Inside one of the better mansions located in the more privileged part of the camp, the Lin sisters were already awake.
Unlike most of the newer members, they had not been moved into ordinary quarters after changing sides. Their mansion had remained untouched, partly because of their strength and partly because there had been no reason to take it from them. The building still stood in one of the better areas once reserved for Henry's inner circle, though now the atmosphere around it had changed completely.
Lin Xuyi stood by the large window and looked outside at the camp below. From where she stood, she could see workers moving with more purpose, patrol routes being followed more seriously, and even people speaking in quieter tones than before. It had only been a few days since the power changed hands, yet the difference was already obvious.
She folded her arms and spoke without turning around.
"It has only been a few days, but the camp already feels different."
