The tension in the house was so overwhelming as the vampires family waited for the four of them to calm.
Mrs Fraser had tears in her eyes as a she kept staring at Lila.
"I'm highly disappointed at you. " Mrs Fraser said letting her tears rolled down her cheeks. She must visit Reese as soon as possible before her girls ruin their live with their stupid and foolish curiousity.
Lila had tears in her eyes.
"Mama, please forgive me. Eve, beg mama. " It wasn't intentional. Lila begged weakly.
Enough of the cries. I'm not here for you guys to accept or not. I have come to let you all know that, Julian will be getting married to Lila. King Lachlan finally made his verdict standing up.
The family froze in shock.
Lila quickly walked towards Julian surprising her family once again.
She fell on her knees. She didn't care about self respect. All she wanted at that moment is for her family not be burdened by the strong pressure of the domineering vampires.
"Your highness, please think this through. " She begged weakly.
Julian hated that painful look in her eyes. He wanted to plead with his father but ever since she stepped foot into the Castle.
His father had said there is something about her that doesn't seem right. He had thought his father was just saying things to make him forget about her.
But unfortunately, on getting here, he felt something was suddenly off about this human family. It was as if they were hiding something dangerous. Or something that was forbidden to the hearts of the world. So his father had suggested he propose a marriage with them.
Julian didn't answer and looked away. It was best not to say a word.
Lila was shocked but quickly stood up and walked towards the king.
"Your majesty, please consider the King's reputation? How will people see it that the royal king stooped so low to let the princes marry a useless human girl like me. " She lamented.
But king Lachlan didn't say anything and just smiled.
"Whosoever speak ill of the future daughter in laws shall be burnt into ashes. " King Lachlan said with an authoritatove tone.
The four family were stunned by the King's order.
"This is my final verdict and any one who dares to defile will be killed. " He threatened heartlessly.
"Lila will go on a date with the vampire prince. " King Lachlan said coldly. He knew the humans wouldn't dare to act rashly or stupidly for fear that they will be exiled from valtenia kingdom.
Mr Fraser face darkened coldly but he didn't show it to avoid facing the wrath of the king.
With that said, King Lachlan stood up and walked away like a domineering king that he is. After leaving, Louisa and Thomas also left with Isla except of course Julian.
Eve took in a deep breath. She must find a way to stop this utter madness.
Lila was so shocked and stunned at the same time at what the vampire king said. She couldn't believe that her curiousity finally costed her future. A future she couldn't see. Her heart flutter weakly in her chest.
Julian stood up and suddenly grabbed Lila by her waist making her heart thump wildly in her chest.
She closed her eyes as she didn't dare to say anything.
Julian just stared at her closed eyes, her innocent face made him fall deeper with her even though he felt this particular human family was off.
He slowly let go of her and saod,
"Get ready, tomorrow evening. I will come pick you up. " With that said and not waiting for their response he left.
The moment he left,
Mrs Fraser was so angry that she didn't think twice before giving Lila a resounding hot slap on the face.
Lila froze on the spot as she hadn't expected her mother to react in that manner.
"What did I warn you about?" Her mother yelled angrily and painfully. This wasn't what she bargained for. This wasn't what she wanted for her daughters. And yet, one of her daughters had decided to go astray.
"Mommy, I didn't mean to do it. I was tempted. " Lila said tears lurked at the corner of her eyes.
"You say what?" Her mother body tremble in anger.
Now that the king eyes are on us, we are not longer safe anymore if we don't accept the marriage with the prince.
Lila bit her lips hard as she tried to suppress her emotions. This was more than painful than before. "I'm sorry mommy, I promise to fix this. " She said painfully and weakly.
"What can you fix about it? You are having a date with the vampire prince?" Her mother was so pissed and hurt to the core.
"Just give me time mum, I will talk to the prince. I will make user this doesn't happen. I promise to fix it all. I won't get married to the prince. " Lila said hoarsely.
Evelyn didn't say anything and went to her room. Her mind was still playing the scene that just happened. If the vampire king had decided to get his son married to her sister whether she accepts it or not, how much more the silver eyes stranger that haven been appearing in her dreams non stop?
She sat on the bed looking lost in thoughts. Her mind was spiralling worriedly as she clenched her fists tightly and angrily.
"She must find a way to stop that silver eyes stranger from invading her dreams." This was bad and seriously dangerous for a young maiden like her. With that,
She stood up and went to stand in front of the mirror and stared at her already healed injury.
She took her antiseptic cream and applied it on her forehead. After applying it on her forehead, she went back to sit on the bed as she thought of a way to help Lila out with this mess she had entangled herself in.
