On her way there, her phone started ringing with a unique ringing tone set for Simon only. A smile blossomed on her face as she pressed the answer button.
"Darling!" she coquettishly called; happiness visible in her tone.
[Um, my love. Are you there yet?]
Sia pouted as she thought about how she waited for some time, and yet Gloria was nowhere to be found.
She couldn't help but wonder if Gloria was playing games with her and trying to get back at her.
"Um, I arrived, but Gloria, I can't reach her."
[You can't reach her? How? Is she not picking up her calls?]
"Umph, she should have switched off her phone, but don't worry, I might know where she is!" With confidence written all over her face, she responded.
[Is that so? That's good, but where?]
"Oh! There was an accident which happened just some distance away from the village. I think she might be there to watch!" That should be the case; otherwise, there was no reason why she couldn't be here.
