His thoughts were disrupted by the incoming call from his main call, and he took a deep breath, the disappointment on his face never fading.
For a moment, he thought it was a call on his small phone.
He reluctantly reached for the bigger phone, curious who was calling, and upon seeing that it was Simon, he quickly fixed his emotions before answering.
[Uncle, I hope that I didn't disturb you!] he was polite as ever, and a smile appeared on his face.
"No, no. You didn't. Is everything okay?"
[Um ….. not really.]
Jack felt astounded when he heard that. he couldn't help but ask, "What's going on? Is it Sia?" his tone filled with worry.
Whenever Simon reached out to them, it was either because of Sia or Gloria. But lately, the problem should be Sia. She has a knack for causing trouble. Besides, she was supposed to meet with Gloria today. Could it be that she messed up again?
His fatherly heart started worrying.
