Gloria had no clue that another secret of hers had been uncovered.
When she arrived at the private airstrip, the smile on her face never faded as she threw herself into the embrace of the man she hadn't seen in days.
"Hubby!" she happily called as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
Xander dotingly caressed Gloria's waist, a smile on his face as he inhaled that refreshing scent from her body that he was addicted to.
"Did you miss me?" he asked teasingly as he reluctantly parted from her and pushed her slightly so that he could see her face.
Gloria nodded her head, her eyes oozing with sincerity. It made Xander's heart flutter.
"I missed you as well."
Charles watched the interaction of his father and stepmother with interest, though he looked very calm on the surface.
