Berloff took the suitcase from Rebecca, ready to leave.
Just then, Darnell crossed his arms and looked at Berloff with a smug expression.
"Berloff Reed, right? What car did you drive to pick us up today?"
"If the car is too cheap, forget it," Primrose, one of Rebecca's colleagues, chimed in. "I've never ridden in a car worth less than fifty thousand dollars!"
Marcella, another colleague, added, "Exactly! If you can't handle it, Berloff, we should let Mr. Darnell arrange it.""There are four of us, plus our luggage. A regular car won't fit us all."
Hearing this, Rebecca's face turned frosty. She replied coldly, "Mr. Darnell, if you're not satisfied, I'll just leave in my cousin's car."
"As for you all, make your own arrangements. We'll meet at the branch office tomorrow."
Darnell waved his hand dismissively and said, "Rebecca, this business trip is important. We should travel together and stay together for the sake of work."

The playboy Darnell was here to flirt and had been strolling leisurely, but his two lackeys were exhausted.
"Hey, Berloff, why aren't we leaving the airport right away? Why are you taking us to the other side?" Cousin Rebecca asked, looking puzzled.
"Heh," Berloff chuckled softly. "Cousin, there's been a massive pile-up on the highway from Silk City Airport to downtown. It's been blocked for a long time. We're not taking a car."
