"Well, finally, boss, I've been looking everywhere!" A ghostly figure appeared in front of the people standing in the cave of Cannibal Island, grinning contentedly at the Athamanas.
The newly appeared ghost had his hands on his hips, his hair was shaved bald on one side, and decorated with intricate braids on the other. His clothes were completely different from what the hegins were used to, he wore thickly lined boots, his pants were tied to his shins with leather strips. His sleeves were also tied to his forearms with leather strips, and a cloak was draped over his right shoulder. Also a symbol unknown to the hegins was tattooed in the middle of his forehead.
"Tame..." Etele grimaced and said the name as if it were some kind of curse that could kill people instantly.
"Enough of the game, boss, we have important things to do. I've let you do what you want so far, but you've had enough fun." The new ghost explained and perhaps would have continued if it weren't for the swirling water surrounding him. "Why?" The ghost didn't even bother turning towards the undersea-walkers and simply leaning over the wall of water. "You would lower it. I'm taking care of important things right now." He said in a calm voice.
"No way. You're all under arrest here! You're coming with us to Oltyhar!" The undersea-walker soldier announced. Although the hegins couldn't see the face of the newly appeared ghost, the undersea-walkers clearly saw the grimace that appeared on it.
"I won't ask again." Came the calmly spoken answer from the ghost, whereupon the undersea-walkers moved in unison. "I warned you." The ghost sighed, then hid back in the water trap and clapped. The sound was so loud that the entire mountain shook. The living even had to close their eyes. And when they opened them, they were all surprised.
The undersea-walker soldiers found themselves facing a completely empty cave. Their deserter foreign minister, Crazy Llyr, was nowhere to be seen, nor were his accomplices from the surface. The hegin people were astonished to find themselves out in the open in a place none of them knew. And the strange ghost stood before them with folded arms.
"So, now that we've taken care of that." The strangely dressed ghost began. "Pull yourself together, boss, and push your ass to Szelevu before I push it there. The army has functioned well enough without the ghost king." He announced, whereupon the Athamanas turned as one man towards Kamu, who raised his hands to his head.
"Hey, don't look at me like that! This ghost king has nothing to do with him!" He pointed at the new ghost. "I don't even know who this is." The ghost-man grimaced.
"Ah, the other one. It's an honor to meet you." The new ghost nodded towards Ishán of the Immortal Mist. "So, boss, are you coming on your own, or should I pull you by the ears?" The ghost asked again, looking at the Athamanas.
"Excuse me, but I think there might be some misunderstanding here..." Teveli began, who was the first of the group to come to his senses.
"Misunderstanding?" The ghost asked back, then shook his head. "There is no misunderstanding here. This unfortunate man just up and left the front line twenty years ago with just an 'I'll be back. Have fun.' and we haven't seen him since. But now it's time for him to return, the island won't subdue itself." The ghost explained, in such a measured and calm voice that the hegins found themselves nodding at his words.
"That's all well and good, but would you tell me who you're talking about?" Ajtony asked. "Because judging by your previous statement, you're not talking the ghost king I know." He added, putting his arm around Kamu's shoulders.
"Who am I talking about?" The ghost raised its face to the sky, then grimaced before looking back at the living. "Who would I be talking about, if not him?" He asked the question in a grumpy voice, while pointing at Etele with one hand. With this, he managed to make the group slowly look towards the Koál ghost.
Etele stood grimacing behind the Athamanas, his arms folded in front of him, and the táltos actually had an aura that meant he would rather be anywhere than where and in what situation he was in. However, this did not stop his companions from looking at him suspiciously.
"Grandpa..." Several of the Athamanas began at once.
"Father! What does this mean?" Kamu asked in a cold voice and looked at his former foster father with a new kind of concern.
"I have no idea what you are talking about." Etele shrugged, pretending that he really did not know anything about the matter.
"You have no idea? I will give you no idea! You left me there with the sheep for twenty years, then you appear with the eastern troops, only to disappear for me again and not even glance at me. It is not easy to lead the troops against the danovuses instead of His Majesty." The newly appeared ghost grumbled and as he spoke he slammed both hands on his hips.
"He is talking nonsense." Etele shook his head, as if he were he would have met a madman.
"An owl tells a sparrow that he has a big head!" The new ghost also grimaced. "Don't make me do that..." Although he didn't say what he was thinking, dark clouds almost surrounded him when he finished the sentence.
"In the name of the ancestors!" Etele raised his arms to the sky and sighed so loudly that even the deaf could hear it. "How in the sweet name of the ancestors are you not being able to take care of those damned danovuses on your own? I was just having fun. And you just had to show up at the worst possible moment." The Koál ancestor grumbled.
"Well, boss, based on the situation I found you in, I would thank myself for saving you from the shit." The ghost countered.
"Did someone ask you to do it?" Etele asked back.
"Have I been bothering you in the past twenty years?" The other ghost tilted his head to the side. "No. You've just played enough, now you come with me nicely and we'll take care of the danovuses. After that, you do whatever you want for all I care!" The unknown ghost rolled his eyes.
"Why should I go with you? I'm your boss." Etele put his hands on his hips and pulled himself up, as if a new wave of soul magic had begun to appear around him.
"Why do you think I brought your little humans?" The cold question came. "Either you come or they'll die. This wouldn't be the first time I've killed a person, you know that." He said in a cold voice, and Etele's hands clenched into fists. For long minutes, only silence surrounded them, then the ghost relative slowly spoke.
"Team, meet Tame Seishin, he's my right hand and the commander of my troops." As he said this, the newly appeared ghost stretched out and bowed to the group. "Tame, these are my latest occupation, the Athamanas and their companions."
"My pleasure. I hope we can cope with eachouther in the future." Tame grinned, not really paying attention to the confused living around him.
