In the Hotel Room
The dim lights of the luxury hotel room cast a soft glow on the bed. Kamnan Khamkaeo sat on the edge, his shirt unbuttoned, frustration clear on his face.
Behind him, Janiya Chakrii stretched lazily under the silk sheets, a satisfied smirk on her lips.
"So… the wedding is really off?" she asked, trailing a finger down his back.
Kamnan exhaled sharply. "Yes. That damn woman humiliated me."
Janiya chuckled, sitting up and wrapping her arms around his shoulders. "Then it's good she didn't marry you."
Kamnan turned to glare at her. "Good? I lost everything, Janiya. Do you know how much land the Hiranchai family owns?"
Janiya leaned in closer, her lips brushing against his ear. "Relax, darling. Just because the wedding is off doesn't mean the game is over."
He narrowed his eyes. "What are you saying?"
Janiya smirked. "Jallyah is smart, but she still has a weakness. If you play it right, she'll come running back to you."
Kamnan scoffed. "She hates me now."
Janiya rolled her eyes. "Then make her fall in love again."
Kamnan frowned, considering her words. Was it possible? Could he still control Jallyah like before?
Janiya leaned back on the bed, confidence in her eyes. "Win her heart, marry her, and then… her entire fortune will be in your hands."
Kamnan smirked. "You're more dangerous than I thought, Janiya."
Janiya laughed, pulling him back into bed. "That's why you love me, don't you?"
Kamnan didn't answer. But deep down, he knew one thing—he wasn't done with Jallyah yet.

At the Café
The soft hum of the café filled the air as Jallyah stirred her coffee, watching the man across from her. Klahan Rueng looked as calm and composed as ever, sipping his espresso.
After all these years, he was finally sitting in front of her again.
She cleared her throat. "So… tell me about your life in the U.S."
Klahan smiled but didn't answer immediately. Instead, he leaned back in his chair. "It was… busy."
Jallyah raised an eyebrow. "That's it?"
He chuckled. "There's nothing much to say."
Jallyah studied him carefully. He was hiding something. But before she could press further, he asked a question that caught her off guard.
"Tell me, Jallyah… why did you give up on the man you loved for years?"
Jallyah's hands tightened around her cup. Her voice was calm but firm. "Because some people don't deserve my love."
Klahan's gaze darkened slightly. "Do I deserve it?"
Jallyah froze.
Her heart skipped a beat as she looked at him, confusion in her eyes. "What do you mean?"
Klahan set down his cup and leaned forward.
"Marry me, Jallyah."
Jallyah's breath caught in her throat. What…?
She stared at him, lost for words. Was this a joke?
Klahan's expression didn't change. His deep eyes locked onto hers, full of something she couldn't quite understand.
Jallyah thought he was joking. Klahan Rueng, asking her to marry him? It sounded ridiculous.
But then she looked into his eyes—steady, unwavering.
He was serious.
She swallowed hard. "Klahan… this isn't funny."
Klahan leaned closer, a small smirk on his lips. "Did I say I was joking?"
Jallyah's heart pounded. What was he thinking?
