Chapter 5 - I'm ready !

Jallyah's mind went blank for a second. Marriage… with Klahan?

It wasn't a bad idea. He was her best friend. Someone she could trust.

He had always been there for her, even when she was too blind to see it.

Back in high school, he had silently watched as she fell for Kamnan Khamkaeo. He had left for the U.S. because of it. And now, he had returned—offering her marriage, offering his support.

But… what about her revenge?

She clenched her fists under the table. Could she balance both? Could she pretend to be in a happy marriage while slowly destroying those who had ruined her past life?

Before she could think further, Klahan's deep voice pulled her back. "So? Are you ready to be mine?"

She looked up, meeting his gaze. He was serious. No hesitation. No doubt.

Jallyah took a deep breath, then smiled. "I'm ready."

A small smirk appeared on Klahan's lips. "Good. Then we'll get married soon."

For now, they were about to be the happiest couple.

Just then, Jallyah's phone rang. She glanced at the screen. Lawana Chakrii.

Her heart clenched. Lawana… she was still alive.

Memories of her past life rushed back—Lawana's lifeless body, blood pooling around her. Janiya had killed her own sister… all for money.

Jallyah's hands trembled as she quickly answered the call.

"Lawana!"

A familiar voice laughed on the other end. "Whoa, what's with the excitement? Did you miss me that much?"

Jallyah bit her lip, forcing back her emotions. "Of course I did."

Lawana chuckled. "You sound different… like you actually care about me."

Jallyah swallowed hard. "I always cared about you." She had just been too blind in her past life to show it.

"Anyway," Lawana continued. "I want to meet. Are you free?"

Jallyah didn't hesitate. "Yes. Where?"

Lawana gave her the location, and Jallyah ended the call.

She turned to Klahan, who had been watching her silently.

"Can you take me there?"

He didn't even ask why. He simply stood up and grabbed his car keys. "Let's go."

Jallyah felt a strange warmth in her chest. Klahan didn't demand answers. He didn't question her decisions.

He just… supported her.

As she followed him to his car, she silently vowed—this time, she wouldn't fail Lawana. This time, she would protect her.

Bui Fashion - A famous fashion company under Bui Family

Under the bright studio lights, Lek Bui adjusted his pose. The camera flashes went off, capturing his perfect angles.

As one of Thailand's most famous models, Lek was used to this—the attention, the admiration. Women adored him, and brands fought to have him represent them.

"Perfect! One more shot!" the director called out.

Lek smirked and tilted his chin, effortlessly exuding charm.

Just then, his assistant, Fateh, rushed toward him, holding out a phone.

"Sir, it's an important call."

Lek frowned. "I'm busy. Who is it?"

Fateh hesitated before answering. "Klahan Rueng."

Lek's expression froze.

Klahan?

His best buddy, the one who had disappeared to the U.S. years ago? He was back? And Lek was only hearing about it now?

Snatching the phone, he turned away from the cameras. "Klahan? You little—how the hell are you back and didn't even tell me?"
