Chapter 3 - Long time No see , My Lady

Jallyah walked down the busy street, lost in thought. The sun was setting, casting a golden glow over the city. She had no wedding. No husband. No regrets. But her revenge was only beginning.

As she reached for her phone, she felt a sudden pull on her purse.

"Hey!" she shouted.

A man in a black hoodie snatched her purse and ran. Jallyah's heart pounded. Her phone, money, and everything were in there!

She took a step forward to chase him, but before she could move, a deep voice cut through the air.

"Stop him."

In an instant, several men in black suits appeared. One of them grabbed the thief, twisting his arm behind his back. The purse fell to the ground.

Jallyah's eyes widened. Who were these people?

Then, she saw him.

A man in a luxury suit stood tall, his presence powerful. His dark eyes locked onto hers.

Klahan Rueng.

Jallyah's breath caught in her throat. After all these years… after high school… he was here. She had felt like she was losing her best friend forever.

Jallyah's mind raced as she stared at Klahan. The last time she saw him was in high school… the day he left.

(Flashback – High School, Ten Years Ago)

Jallyah sat on the rooftop of their school, her legs dangling over the edge. The cool evening breeze brushed against her face. This was their usual place.

Klahan stood beside her, silent. But tonight felt different.

Jallyah glanced at him and frowned. "You've been acting weird all day. What's wrong?"

Klahan took a deep breath, then turned to her. "Jallyah… I'm leaving for the U.S."

Her heart skipped a beat. "What?" She let out a nervous laugh. "Is this a joke?"

He shook his head. "My family wants me to study there. I leave next week."

Jallyah's hands clenched into fists. "So… you weren't even going to tell me?"

Klahan sighed. "I didn't know how to."

Jallyah swallowed hard. "How long?"

His eyes softened. "Maybe… a long time."

She looked away, blinking back tears. She had always thought he would stay by her side.

"Then what about me?" she asked quietly.

Klahan hesitated, then smiled sadly. "You'll be fine. You're strong, Jallyah."

She scoffed. "Liar."

He chuckled, then suddenly ruffled her hair. "I promise… one day, I'll come back."

Jallyah bit her lip, trying not to cry. "You better keep that promise, Klahan Rueng."

But what she didn't know was that Klahan had already made his decision long before.

He had loved her.

But she was in love with Kamnan Khamkaeo.

So he chose to leave.

(Back to Present)

Jallyah snapped out of her thoughts, staring at the man in front of her. He had come back. Just like he said.

Before she could say anything, Klahan smirked.

"Long time no see, my lady."

Jallyah's heart pounded. This was the moment she never expected… but maybe the one she needed the most.

Klahan raised an eyebrow. "You look surprised."

She crossed her arms, regaining her composure. "I thought you forgot about me."

His smirk deepened. "Forget you? Impossible."

Jallyah felt her heart skip a beat. This reunion was only the beginning.
