Chapter 223 - chapter 23

Hamar crushed the aura stone he had formed and reabsorbed the white aura, "That's as much as I can show you, but try to strengthen your connection to the dragon. From my knowledge with that inheritance you should be able to grow stronger much faster"

Jin recalled those rings and travelled then with her fingers, "Thank you..."

She traced another rune before balling her hand into a fist and closing her eyes. She put aside her curiosity and put her hands onto Hamar's shoulder,

"Hey, Hou's not back, but I'm sure your master is doing all he can to find him..." She let go of Hamar and twisted her foot on the ground, then looking back she smirked.

"How about a tour? This is your home?"

Hamar started for a moment... Then he simply chuckled, "Yeah...Come. Follow me, I'll give a little tour"

Jin chuckled and jumped lightly, as she flaked in the air the dragon on her neck some and flew below her.

As it moved through the air, it grew. It seemed to absorb something in the air and each moment it was awake it became larger and more majestic.

Hamar surprised at how easily it seemed to grow and chuckled to himself, 'Did you give me the hard dragon to grow? Jin's seems so much easier already...'

Jin landed atop the pure white jade-like dragon and looked back, "Take it away,"

Hamar smiled and shook off his lampooning to himself, instead he hopped along the ground and jumped into the air.

As he did, he easily used his white aura to fly through the sky, ignoring the power of gravity laws was simple.

"So lets start here...what do you know of where you are?"

Jin floated along, following Hamar, on her dragon, "Umm...nothing? Father brought me along and your master sent me here, I don't really know"

"Master..." Hamar sighed before thinking back. He compiled his knowledge of what his home is and once was.

"This place is called the Sealed...no, not sealed anymore. The Solar Tomb. I don't know too much, I've never asked Master about the specifics but what I do know is that this place was once the combined soul of a cultivator couple."

"The two loved each other and through some technique they combined their soul. This was before this age, this was in the age of spirits. So their soul was managed like a domain and so they spread it around land which made up the...let's call it Solar Lands."

Hamar continuing pulling up his knowledge, supplementing it by whatever he could piece from the fragmented memories he inherited from Hou.

"So these Solar Lands were covered and maintained by the...again let's just call them the Solar Couple. But one of them became in danger or sick, or dying. This part is mostly speculation or myth, little is known for sure..."

"The point is...one died. And in that pain, the remaining one of the Solar Couple decided to seal up the Lands. They created the Sealed Solar Tomb. They turned the land mass into a small planet and sealed it, trapping all the life that was there. They then died, leaving only basic maintenance in the form of remaining will into their soul."

Jin became engrossed and asked, "what next, how does is go from there?"

"Well from there...I don't know. But after an unknown amount of time passed, those happenings became myth. The next part of the story comes with Master actually."

Hamar recalled back with pain, "These lands weren't always so luscious and bountiful"

Hamar looked down at the golden straw and green grass. His eyes twitched and his heart beat faster. Jin, too, looked down at the beautiful landscape.

"Master knew that the Sealed Solar Tomb had a special disposition. It was created before Yao Tian had destroyed spirits..."

For a moment Hamar paused. He knew this was not the full truth but he also knew that if he said anything more the world would censored it.

"...before Yao Tian had destroyed spirits. Add that with the "Sealed" part of "Sealed Solar Tomb" and that meant that inside there were still spirits. And so, since spirits are concentrated laws...Master invaded."

Jin raised her eyebrows, "He invaded?! How so? With the famous Miasma Soldiers?"

Hamar laughed, "no no" He had an almost pained expression, "If he did that, I probably wouldn't be here...no he merely left his miasma to cover the land. But in doing so, he took control of those spirits and slowly his miasma destroyed the Solar Lands. Monsters, corruption, sickness...all common."

Jin covered her mouth, seeing Hamar's Master in a new light. Hamar shook his head, "But! I understand his philosophy...even if I think it to be deplorable. But lets move on from that now..."

He looked down, "Master's miasma slowly took control over the lands and has now unsealed it, hence us being here and there being no miasma. Master already collected the spirits I'm sure."

"Now though...it's once again happy. This is...it's a place I had helped protect. A place established by Hou actually. Come, let me introduce you to a few of our friends..."

The two figures flew down from the sky, immortals descending from the sky to the mortal land.

Mo Huai, Hamar's Master, stood to the side of a small child. The child had black hair and and oppressive aura.

"Sect Master, this involved Yi Sect now! You were hesitant to dedicate too much resources for one person but clearly Hou is needed by Yi Sect! We can't let them have him!"

The child bit his thumb almost to the point of bleeding until it spit it out and jumped. As it jumped, the child transformed to a young teenager.

"This is a better form for this..." He wore a black robe with golden details and he looked down through the clouds the two were standing on.

Below, lay the city Hou and established, the one Hamar and Jin were touring. He squinted and looked at the occasional guards who patrolled, then to Hamar.

"I heard Yo Sect tried to take your other disciple too?"

Mo Huai scoffed, "You can't ignore this..." He sighed before stepping closer, "Yes...luckily whatever they did, didn't work. I haven't investigated Hamar yet, I wished to ask himself before any techniques...especially because of that..."

"The 'aura' as he calls it..."

"Yes...why do all my disciples have to be so extraordinary..."

The sect master closed his eyes, "I'll think about giving more resources to find your first disciple. For now, figure out what Yi Sect did to your second disciple, learn more about his aura, and...make sure he isn't a threat."
