"How did that last Omega die?"
Hearing Felix's question, Kade went silent once more, his face dark and serious. That was precisely the topic he had been trying to avoid, at least for now. Because that last Omega's fate was quite tragic, he didn't want Felix to think about it, not when he surely already had so many worries on his mind… Especially since, while the events technically had nothing to do with Felix's current situation, he couldn't exactly say that they were entirely unrelated either… At the very least, Felix would be able to notice a few similarities between himself and his ancestor, and potentially relate to the story in a… not the most optimistic way.
That's why Kade had been trying to hide it. For Felix's sake, so as not to stress him out any more than he already was.
