What had happened to one of Felix's ancestors - assuming that Felix was the descendant of the last Omega from the blessed bloodline that Kade had read about in the historical records, and not of one of her relatives who carried on the bloodline without inheriting the abilities - was not important at the moment, since it didn't have any significant impact on their current situation. Aside from, of course, the fact that Felix was born into the bloodline that was considered to be extinct, and no one knew about it except for his father. The point was that the knowledge of Felix's secret bloodline was all that they needed for their negotiations with Wilder.
Or so Kade thought, which is why he temporarily skipped over some details.
But Felix thought otherwise. He pondered over everything that Kade had told him, before asking, "That last Omega you've mentioned… What pack was she from?"
