The courtyard fell silent. Human soldiers, orc berserkers, commanders, and both queens watched as Arthur stepped toward Sera. Her amber eyes gleamed with anticipation and something deeper—hunger.
"Dragon senses are thorough," she explained, her voice carrying to the assembled crowd. "They need to smell your claim on me. Taste it in the air. Simple words won't convince ancient rivals that I belong to you now."
Arthur felt the political weight of the moment. Every eye in the courtyard was on them. His integrated forces needed to see their king claim supernatural power. The rival dragons circling overhead needed to understand what they'd face if they attacked what was his.
"Everyone watches," he said simply. "This is about more than just us."
