"This will amplify your physical capabilities for about an hour," she said, handing it over. "But if your System goes down..."
"Then I'm just human," Arthur finished, downing the mixture. It burned going down, then spread warmth through his limbs. "Beatrice, explain the Disruptor one more time."
Beatrice's fingers traced glowing diagrams in the air, her theory made visible through magic. "System resonance interference through harmonic disruption. When two Systems interact, they create frequency patterns. If you can match and invert that frequency..."
"The Systems cancel each other out," Lisa added grimly. "But Arthur, this is theoretical. We don't know if it's temporary hibernation or permanent damage."
