Chapter 111 - Journey Through the Digital World

After many trials, the Digital World of the Fourth Season was finally restored. With everything needing rebuilding, Holy Angewomon led the angelic army across the land, proclaiming the return of order.

By the time she had finished restoring order and returned to her castle, it was already midnight.

Just as she was about to head to her room to rest, she heard a faint sound upon entering the castle—

"Uhh, Lady Angewomon, please don't tease me like that."

Holy Angewomon paused at the door.

That was Nefertimon's voice.

And the "Lady Angewomon" she mentioned must be Angewomon (Moss).

What… are they doing?

Taking small, rapid steps, Holy Angewomon hurried to the source of the sound—the study she had prepared for Moss.

"Not there..."

"!"

Her heart skipped a beat. She shoved the door open and barked sternly, "In such a sacred place, inappropriate behavior is forbidden!"

The room fell silent.

There, she saw Nefertimon lounging on a sofa like a big cat while Moss gently stroked her fur-covered belly.

"Lady Holy Angewomon?!" Nefertimon sat up nervously.

Moss calmly explained, "It's just a relaxing massage."

"…Really?" Holy Angewomon looked suspicious.

The atmosphere was... questionable.

"If you don't believe me, you can try it yourself. It helps relieve fatigue," Moss offered with a smile.

"…Oh? It relieves fatigue?" Holy Angewomon touched her chin thoughtfully. "I have heard of similar services in the human world."

Though she had never visited, her years of captivity by Cherubimon had left her with ample time to browse human networks—both appropriate and inappropriate content alike.

"You want to try it? Mine's a blind massage—no need for sight, I use intuition to find the acupoints and release your tension," Moss said cheerfully.

…Intuition can do that?

Holy Angewomon hesitated, tempted but then firmly shook her head. "No, I can't have a savior like you serving me."

A savior playing the role of a maid?

How absurd!

Moss shook her head, still smiling. "Saviors sleep, eat… and do lots of ordinary things. This is just a personal hobby—no need to be formal."

Left with no more excuses, Holy Angewomon relented. "Very well, I'll trouble you then."

"Nefertimon, please watch the door," Moss instructed.

Nefertimon nodded, sought permission from Holy Angewomon, and then closed the door behind her with her tail.

"Please remove your armor and lie on the sofa," Moss instructed.

Holy Angewomon didn't use her hands—just a thought, and her green armor vanished. This was one of the tricks Moss had been trying to learn recently.

Some Digimon can retract or hide their gear—or even body parts.

Like Lucemon: Fallen Mode, whose wings appear or vanish at will.

Without her armor, Holy Angewomon resembled a larger version of Angewomon.

Same curves, same white lace bodysuit.

The only real differences were her hairstyle and the absence of a belt.

She even had the same tear-shaped beauty mark under her left eye, just like the Angewomon from the First Season—only with a more mature, refined aura.

"Hoo~"

She folded her ten wings into her body and lay back on the sofa, relaxing completely.

Moss smiled softly, removed her left glove, and rubbed her hands together, generating a glowing aura of healing—Holy Bubble energy.

Her glowing hands pressed onto Holy Angewomon—

Ssshh!

A shiver ran through Holy Angewomon's body like an electric current.

She frowned at first, resistant, but quickly grew used to it and began to feel an unprecedented comfort, both physically and emotionally.

Even the weight she'd carried in her heart for years seemed to melt away.

"You're a bit stiff," Moss said.

"I haven't been active for a long time, and suddenly had to travel the world dealing with all kinds of problems," Holy Angewomon sighed.

"You've worked hard."

"It's nothing compared to you… This is amazing. Did you study massage?"

"Self-taught," Moss replied. She'd practiced on herself often enough to master a technique. It worked particularly well on Angewomon—and Holy Angewomon, being a physically larger version, shared the same pressure points.

Suddenly, Holy Angewomon opened her eyes. "Wait—that area…"

"What's wrong?" Moss asked innocently.

Holy Angewomon hesitated. Few Digimon would explore human internet culture like she had.

This savior was pure!

How could she taint her savior's heart with filth?

Blushing, she looked away and muttered, "Nothing… continue."

Moss grinned. "Actually, I already know."

"What?!" Holy Angewomon gasped, stunned.

My savior… is not pure?!

"Keh-heh-heh-heh~"

Thunder rolled outside the castle.

By sunrise, Moss had put her glove back on.

Holy Angewomon lay limply on the couch, staring blankly at the ceiling. "I'm going to fall… to the dark side…"

Moss replied calmly, "That's a bit dramatic—it was just a massage."

"But I might get addicted. I'll crave it day and night… That's definitely the path to corruption!"

"That just means you're not used to it yet. I'll help you adjust," Moss said with a straight face.

"…!" Holy Angewomon blushed and looked away.

Moss relaxed into a single-seater sofa. "By the way, I need a favor."

"What is it?" asked Holy Angewomon.

Moss raised two fingers. Holy Angewomon blushed again.

But instead of being joined, the two fingers were split apart. One glowed red, the other blue.

"These are remnants of AncientGreymon and AncientGarurumon's power. I want to forge them into weapons—ideally something that can materialize and dematerialize at will. Any ideas?"

Holy Angewomon composed herself and thought. "In that case, use your Holy Ring as the base. Reforge it using their powers to create a weapon that switches between ring and weapon forms."

She then explained the method in detail.

"I see…" Moss looked down at the ring around her left ankle.

So Holy Rings had such versatility…

She recalled that Omegamon's data turned into the Omega Sword. The Digivice tail rings could even enable DNA Digivolution.

Even Zhu Bajie's golden headband might work similarly.

Was this ring… an Ultraman Bracelet?

Moss chuckled.

"What's funny?" asked Holy Angewomon.

"Just remembered something amusing."

She focused. The ring expanded, detached from her ankle, and floated into her palm.

AncientGreymon's power—input!

AncientGarurumon's power—input!

Yes! Perfect combo!

The ring spun, lengthened, and transformed into a greatsword. Simple in design, like a stretched-out cross.

Moss grasped it. The blade was silver with a golden edge.

A little like the Omega Sword, and also similar to Justimon's blade.

"Since it was forged from AncientGreymon and AncientGarurumon, let's call it the Kongou Musha Sword."

It wasn't the most elegant name, but at least it told the sword's origins.

With that, she reverted it back to ring form and reattached it to her ankle.

Now, after two and a half days at the castle, her DigiSoul was fully restored—including the reserves stored inside her Great Demon King Seal.

She went to wake Kari Kamiya. After breakfast, she said, "Kari, my DigiSoul's ready. We can now resume our search for your Digital World."

Kari beamed. Though she enjoyed the Digital World, she'd missed her family. Yet she never complained—she patiently waited until Moss was fully prepared.

Now, the moment had come.

"But…" Holy Angewomon hesitated. What about helping me "adjust"?

"I'm a Digimon who can traverse dimensions," Moss reassured her. "I'll be back often."

That eased Holy Angewomon's worries.

Kari looked between them, her big eyes puzzled. "What are you two talking about?"

Holy Angewomon smiled. "It's an adventure for when you're older."

"She's right," Moss nodded.

Kari tilted her head in confusion.

Ten minutes later, Moss activated Receive Magic, absorbing Mastemon's soul.

Holy Angewomon gasped. "So this is the warrior who commands both light and darkness!"

It was her second time seeing it—but this time, up close.

Nefertimon asked, "How is that even possible?"

"Simple," Moss smiled. "Just combine Angewomon and LadyDevimon."

"…."

Both were speechless.

Fusion requires spiritual harmony—tough enough on its own. Combining two Digimon who inherently dislike each other? Not simple at all!

Ignoring their stares, Moss turned to Kari. With a thought, she used the Rooster Talisman to make Kari float behind her.

She channeled light and darkness into her palms and activated Chaos Descent, opening a new dimensional gate.

This one didn't lead to the Digital World's firewall—but to an unknown dimension.

What kind of world would it be?

Moss was excited.
