After Easton Holmes and Lily Turner walked downstairs, Alice Turner approached Thomas Fisher, still feeling quite tense.
"Let's go." She didn't have the mood for dinner, much less for watching a movie.
"Let's eat before we go." Thomas Fisher was feeling much better than before and reached out to hold Alice Turner, but his hand touched air as she sidestepped away.
After the unexpected encounter just now, Alice Turner felt she should be doubly cautious. In the future, she couldn't be too intimate with him in public; the world is too small, and it's inevitable to run into acquaintances.
Thankfully, today they ran into her sister and brother-in-law. If they had encountered someone else, her situation with him could have become dire.
"Let's not eat, let's go."
After Alice Turner finished speaking, she turned to walk downstairs, but Thomas Fisher reached out and stopped her before she could go.
