Lily Turner finally understood that although the dialogue between Easton Holmes and Thomas Fisher had a lot of bickering, neither of them seemed angry, and it seemed they were actually enjoying the squabble.
She had just worried for nothing, even stepping in to explain in case the two would start a fight.
Alas!
She got fooled by these two brothers!
"Don't mind him, he'll find his own wife," Lily unconsciously sighed, which clearly reached Easton's ears. Unaware of the situation, he thought she was sighing about what Thomas just said, and he quickly spoke up.
Thomas also heard Lily's sigh, and just like Easton, he thought it was about what he had said. He smiled at her and said, "Sister-in-law! I was just joking with you earlier, don't take it to heart. Now my nephew is the most important."
