Easton Holmes and Thomas Fisher had already grown accustomed to this way of communicating, but for Lily Turner, who was meeting them for the first time, her heart was filled with worry, afraid that the two of them would cause some sort of unpleasantness. She felt she couldn't stay silent any longer.
"Your big brother didn't mean it that way."
"I did mean it that way."
Lily Turner tried to explain Easton Holmes' words to Thomas Fisher, but was contradicted by the person in question. She turned her head and looked at the man who contradicted her with dissatisfaction.
Dissatisfied as she was, she didn't say anything to refute him, but she did angrily mutter to herself: Ungrateful!
"Sister-in-law! Did you see that? I've grown up under the torment of my big brother all these years. The shadow in my heart is now very large." Thomas Fisher spoke with increasing grievance, and by the end, he was even pouting his lips pathetically, "Sister-in-law! I need comfort!"
