The young man scrutinized him up and down before letting out a cold snort: "Desmond Wood, on paper, I'm your junior and should call you Second Uncle Desmond. But back then, you eloped with my Aunt Rose—fine, I could have let that go—but you let her take her child and die abroad. This time, I've come out of the mountain to settle the matter once and for all."
Desmond's face turned ashen, with a hint of despair showing through.
