They head out of the garage and were in a back alley. Up ahead, they encountered a horde of zombie dogs running at them.
Jill: "Great. More of these things."
She used her pistole and fired the dogs. One of them got close enough to jump at Y/N to bite him but got punched so hard across the street
When they finished, They spotted the substation close ahead. Close up, it looked infested like it was a nest.
Jill: "There it is."
Y/N: "Let's see what exciting horror this place has!"
They headed inside and spotted a few zombies in the room. Jill took out her pistol.
Jill: "First, we'll do some cleaning up here."
Y/N: "Right!"
She shot any zombies she saw in the head. She would also sometimes shoot them in the legs to slow them down.
For Y/N, he was only throwing straight hands to anything moving in front of him while smiling. That made Jill lower her pistol and just watch the zombies try to escape for their lives.
Jill: "Oooo... okay I start to feel bad for them..."
Last time, Jill had so much trouble with zombies in the mansion. Luckily, she looked into more tips about how to take down zombies. Now, they weren't a problem for her as long as one doesn't bite her.
Jill: "I'm starting to imagine a fight between him and Chris, hand to hand..."
Y/N: "You said something?" he said while holding a zombie by the neck and winding up a punch.
Jill: "Nope, keep going."
Y/N: "Ok." He went back to beating the living shit out of the zombie.
The two finally made it to the control room. Jill went to the controls to operate it, but there was no power.
Jill: "No good. I can't get it running."
Y/N: "I found a note that says we need to activate the four breakers. That will get it to restore power."
He gave her the note and she read it for a minute.
Jill: "Let's move. It won't be that hard."
The two partners continued their way to the transmission tower. They exited the building and came up to something disgusting that smelled like shit.
Y/N: "Aw, sick! It smells like... Ugh, I think I'm gonna throw up the donuts..."
Jill: "No kidding. I don't even want to think of what it smells like."
The two lock-picked their way through the door to the transmission tower. But before they entered, they heard something above them.
Y/N: "Did you hear something?"
Jill: "Yeah. You heard it too?"
Y/N: "Yeah."
The two looked around them to find the source when it was directly above. They saw an insect-looking monster known as a Drain Deimos.
Y/N: "Oh shit!"
The Drain Deimos was about to capture Jill, but Y/N pushed her out of the way as the flea mutant caught him by the neck with its pincers.
Jill: "Y/N!"
Y/N: (choking) "Get off me, you-"
Y/N was cut off when the Drain Deimos inserted its tongue inside his mouth.
Y/N: "MMHP!!!"
Jill: "No!"
Jill fired her pistol at the Deimos. It was shot dead, releasing Y/N as he coughed. Jill knelt next to Y/N.
Jill (concerned): "Y/N, are you alright?!"
Y/N: "No, I think I swallowed whatever kind of shit that bug put in my mouth."
Jill: "That looked bad."
Y/N: "Yea-"
Y/N, in pain, held his stomach and fell to his knees.
Jill: "Y/N!"
Jill took out a syringe from her small pack and injected it into Y/N's body. Y/N grunted and then started vomiting green goop from his mouth.
Y/N: "Oh god!! That's fucking nasty!! *breathes* Oh man, the donut got thrown out..."
Jill hugged Y/N in response, very tightly and stayed like that for some time, making the young man confused.
Y/N: "Ammmmm can you... let go of me now?"
Jill: "Ah right, s-sorry."
The two pulled apart and stood up.
Jill: "We should be careful. There are more of them."
Y/N: *cracks knuckles* "Got it!"
The two reset the four circuit breakers while fighting off the Drain Deimos.
Y/N: "That should do it. Now all that's left is switching on the main power switch."
They headed inside the station as Y/N pulled the main power switch. The substation turned on and removed the Deimos's webbing around it.
Y/N: "Enjoy that?"
Jill: "Yeah, and good riddance." *grabs her radio* "Carlos, it's Y/N and Jill. We've restored power to the subway."
Carlos: "Nice going! Next up is the traffic control system. It should be in the subway company's offices."
Jill: "Got it. Y/N, let's move."
The two got out from the substation and made their way to the main road. Suddenly, a building wall was destroyed and that monster came out from it.
Nemesis: "STARS!!"
Jill: "Ah shit!!!"
Y/N: "Wait, I thought that thing was dead!!"
Jill: "Looks like it didn't!"
She started shooting the Nemesis in the head and did nothing as he began making his way to them. Suddenly, Y/N stepped ahead and cracked his neck.
Y/N: "Jill, fix the train. I will take care of it."
Jill: "Don't be stupid!! This thing is so tough!!"
Y/N: "Ha! We will see about that!"
She found nothing to do but obey and ran. Nemesis charged a punch at Y/N, but he grabbed it with both hands, blocking it while struggling.
Y/N: "Gah! Okay, Jill was right, this thing is tough!"

Jill had made it to the subway office and headed to the control room.
Jill: "Carlos, I'm in the control room. Now what?"
Carlos: "Nice! Now you gotta plot out a route. The train is stopped at Redstone Street. We're heading to Fox Park Station. Can you program that in?"
Jill: "Hey, I'm super cop. Consider it done."
She operated the controls for a minute and set up the train route.
Jill: "Carlos, it's Jill. I finished inputting the subway route."
Carlos: "Jill, you are amazing. Tough as nails too. Hurry back to the station. We'll make sure the subway is ready to depart."
Jill: "Got it. I just need to get back to Y/N first. He's busy fighting that thing."
Carlos: "By himself?! Is he out of his mind?"
Jill: "No need to worry. I know he can handle himself."
/back to Y/N/
Nemesis charged another punch, but Y/N avoided it, making the monster's hand get stuck on the ground. The man took the opportunity and started combo punches on Nemesis' face, trying to take him down, but the creature grabbed Y/N's leg and threw him into a nearby car with a loud crash.
Jill: "Y/N!!"
Jill, who had just arrived, ran to his side and wrapped his arm over her shoulder to help him stand as they took the opportunity of the dizzy state Nemesis was in from Y/N's attack to escape.
Jill: "Idiot, you were going to kill yourself..." (mumbling)
Y/N: *cough* "I was going to win!"
Jill: "Yeah, win my ass!"
The two made it back to the subway station and took the stairs where they found Carlos waiting for them.
Carlos: "Thank God, you're alright. Damn Y/N, what happened???"
Y/N: "I 1v1'd that beast and beat his ass!! Ouch!"
Jill: "Are we ready to move?"
Carlos: "Close to. We'll move in 30-40 minutes."
The shutter to their right opened as it revealed Nicholai and another U.B.C.S soldier.
Y/N: "Great, him again."
Carlos: "Nicholai, how are we doing?"
Nicholai: "The town is crawling with those freaks. No chance in fighting our way out of the city."
He saw Y/N and Jill.
Nicholai: "Why are they here?"
Y/N: "Doing your job, that's what."
Carlos: "They've been helping get the train running."
Nicholai: "Bad time to start carrying dead weight, friend."
He glanced at Jill.
Nicholai: "This one is unreliable. Can't pull the trigger when it counts."
He turned to Y/N.
Nicholai: "And he can't be trusted. He's already getting on my nerves."
Carlos: "Hey, take it easy."
He turned to Carlos.
Nicholai: "They'll get you killed."
Nicholai and the U.B.C.S soldier headed down to the subway train.
Carlos: "Sorry about that. Everyone is a little worked up."
They heard something come from up the stairs. Carlos had his rifle ready. They saw Nemesis coming down the stairs.
Jill: "Fuck!"
Carlos: "Oh come on."
Y/N: "Round two, baby!!"
Jill: "That's NOT gonna happen!!"
Nemesis turned to Y/N and growled angrily.
Y/N: "Wasn't he after you...?"
Jill: "I think he targets you too now. We need to move!!"
She pressed the red button next to the gates as they started closing, with Carlos on the other side.
Carlos: "What are you doing!!?"
Y/N: *takes fighting position* "He's after us!! We'll lose him and come back quick. Prepare the train!!!"
He shouted and dashed to Nemesis and grabbed his punch again. While the monster was distracted, Jill shot its head with a few rounds until it was stunned.
Jill: "This way!!"
The two started running through the door Nicholai came out from as Nemesis stood again and began chasing them.
