The wasteland shook under the sheer pressure of the two monsters standing face-to-face.
Sirzechs Lucifer, the strongest Devil in existence, held a sphere of pure destruction in his palm, radiating an aura that could erase anything in its path.
Kuroyami Saisei, with the power of Yami Sukehiro, stood unfazed, his sword dripping with blackened mana, ready to slice through reality itself.
The air crackled.
The world held its breath.
Then—
Sirzechs moved.
BOOOOOM!
The Devil King vanished from his position, appearing instantly in front of Kuroyami.
His palm thrust forward—a miniature black hole of destruction energy blasting towards Kuroyami's chest.
CRACK!
The very air ripped apart, the force so strong it sent shockwaves across the battlefield.
Issei, watching from the protective barrier, screamed, "THAT'S CHEATING! HOW THE HELL DO YOU DODGE THAT?!"
The dust settled—
And Kuroyami was gone.
Sirzechs' eyes narrowed. "Teleportation?"
"Nope."
Sirzechs' instincts screamed.
He looked up—
FWOOOOOSH!
A blackened slash of pure darkness came down from above, cutting through the very fabric of space.
Sirzechs reacted instantly, raising his arm.
BOOOOM!
The impact shattered the sky, sending tremors through the entire battlefield. The ground split apart, and entire mountains were annihilated just from the clash.
From the sky, Rias and the others stared in disbelief.
Akeno's smile faltered. "T-That's not normal… even for devils."
Kiba's grip tightened. "This is beyond a normal fight… they're like walking natural disasters."
Koneko simply muttered, "Monsters."
Issei?
He was already on the ground, passed out from sheer terror.
Pushing the Limits
Sirzechs hovered in the air, his arm smoking from the attack.
For the first time in centuries… he felt something close to pain.
"...I see now," Sirzechs muttered. "You don't just wield darkness… you wield something beyond it."
Kuroyami grinned. "Took you long enough."
He gripped his sword with both hands.
"Dark Cloaked: Dimension Slash – Equinox."
The sword gleamed with an infinite abyss.
He swung.
FWOOOOOSH!
The slash did not travel.
Instead, everything in front of Kuroyami simply ceased to exist.
Reality itself shredded apart—a massive, gaping void replacing the space where Sirzechs once stood.
Rias and the others gasped.
"Did he—?"
The void collapsed, revealing Sirzechs—
Completely unharmed.
Kuroyami's eyes narrowed. "Tch. You countered it?"
Sirzechs smiled.
"No."
Kuroyami's instincts screamed.
"I transcended it."
BOOOOOM!
Sirzechs' form shifted—
His body was now pure, unfiltered Power of Destruction.
The air burned around him. His eyes glowed with infinite power.
"This… is my true form."
Even Kuroyami felt it.
This wasn't just magic.
This wasn't just power.
This was a concept itself.
Sirzechs had become the embodiment of destruction.
Kuroyami grinned. "Now we're talking."
The Devil King's Final Move
Sirzechs lifted his hand.
"Let's end this, Kuroyami-kun."
A singular black sphere formed in his palm.
Kuroyami felt it.
This wasn't just Power of Destruction.
It was pure nothingness.
One touch.
One single hit—
And he'd be erased.
Kuroyami exhaled, gripping his sword.
"...Guess I'll have to cut through that too."
He stepped forward.
Sirzechs thrust his hand forward.
The sphere rushed towards Kuroyami—
And then—
A voice echoed.
"That's enough."
The battlefield froze.
Interruption from the Heavens
A massive golden magic circle appeared in the sky.
A figure emerged.
Golden armor. Divine wings. A presence that screamed "Absolute Authority."
Kuroyami raised an eyebrow. "And who the hell are you?"
The figure hovered above them, his golden eyes filled with power.
"Michael. Archangel of Heaven."
Rias gasped. "Michael-sama?!"
Sirzechs frowned, his aura fading back to normal.
"Michael… What brings you here?"
Michael's gaze locked onto Kuroyami.
"Him."
Silence.
Then—
Kuroyami sighed, rubbing his neck.
"Great. Another guy wants to fight me."
