Chapter 508 - Chapter 508: Choosing a New House

The next day.

Hinata made an excuse to go home so that Naruto could talk to his parents about moving out and buying another house.

After Hinata left, Naruto sat down on the sofa with Minato and Kushina.

"Dad, Mom, I have something to discuss with you!"

Kushina and Minato looked at him with interest.

"Yeah, Naruto, what is it? Tell us," Kushina said.

Naruto scratched his head, looking a little embarrassed. "Well, I talked it over with Hinata. The house is kind of small, so we were thinking about moving out and living on our own. Is that okay?"

Minato and Kushina glanced at each other and smiled knowingly.

Naruto looked at them and smiled too — he already knew they understood what he meant.

Sure enough, Kushina stood up, took Naruto's hand, and said warmly, "Of course I agree. You're young, you two should live together on your own! It's inconvenient for you to stay here with us all the time."

Minato nodded in agreement. "That's right, Naruto. Your mother and I completely support you moving out."

Hearing his parents agree so easily, Naruto grinned. "Great! Then I'll go look for a house today."

Just as he was about to stand up, Kushina suddenly pulled him back onto the sofa.

"Wait, Naruto," she said seriously, "listen to me. You have to be… you know, strong. Don't be nervous about that kind of thing. If it doesn't work, I'll have your father get you some medicine!"

Naruto froze, his face going red.

Minato immediately started coughing uncontrollably.

Kushina turned to him. "Why are you coughing?"

Minato frowned. "He knows what to do. Why are you saying things like that?"

Kushina crossed her arms. "What? I'm just caring about him! You think I shouldn't care about our son?"

Minato sighed. "I didn't say that. I'm just saying—"

Kushina interrupted sharply. "Then fine! If you care so much, you go out right now and buy that medicine for him!"

Naruto jumped up, waving his hands frantically. "No, Mom! Seriously, I don't need any medicine. You're overthinking it! Anyway, I'm going to look for a house now. Don't worry about it!"

After finally calming his parents down, Naruto left the house, still embarrassed.

Really… Mom actually said something like that in front of Dad. What was she even thinking?

Shaking his head, he muttered to himself, "Forget it. I'd better just focus on finding a house."

He started walking through the streets of Konoha.

In his previous life, when Pain invaded the village, the Shinra Tensei destroyed almost everything — the entire Konoha was flattened. Later, after the war, the village had been rebuilt from scratch, including the house where Naruto and Hinata eventually lived after their marriage.

But in this life, things were different. After being reborn, Naruto had managed to take control of the Akatsuki, preventing the destruction of Konoha. The village remained as it always had been — peaceful and whole.

Now, it was time for him to choose a new home again.

As he walked, Naruto thought about the future.

When Boruto and Himawari are born, they'll need their own rooms. It's fine for them to stay together as kids, but when they grow up, boys and girls need their own space.

He also liked the idea of a two-story home — just like the one he had before. That layout felt right to him.

So, after deciding what kind of house he wanted, Naruto went to meet Hinata.

She was waiting for him at a teahouse not far from home. When she saw him approach, she stood up and smiled.

"Naruto! How did it go with your parents?"

Naruto grinned. "They agreed!"

Hinata blinked, surprised. "Really? They didn't seem upset or anything?"

She had been worried that Minato and Kushina might be unhappy about Naruto moving out but had agreed only because of her.

Seeing the concern on Hinata's face, Naruto chuckled. "Don't worry. They completely understand. They know what happened last night, so they understand why we want to live separately."

Hinata's cheeks turned red. Naruto continued, grinning mischievously, "Oh, and my mom even tried to give me some medicine, telling me not to be nervous! Can you believe that?"

Hinata covered her mouth, giggling. "It seems like your mom really knows you well, Naruto. Hahaha!"

Naruto rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, very funny. Come on, let's go look at some houses before she really buys that medicine."

Hinata nodded, still smiling. Being with Naruto had made her more cheerful and open. She was no longer the shy, timid girl she once was.

The two of them headed to the same real estate agency where Naruto had once helped Karin find a house.

When the agent saw Naruto walk in, he immediately smiled. "Naruto Uzumaki! Long time no see. What brings you here today — looking to buy or rent?"

Naruto nodded. "Yeah, I want to buy a house."

The agent glanced between Naruto and Hinata, then smirked knowingly. "Ah, I see! A new house for you and your wife-to-be, right?"

Naruto scratched his head. "Yeah, just for the two of us."

The agent chuckled. "That's great! Every young couple needs their own place. Come on, I'll show you what we've got. Any particular type of house you're looking for?"

Naruto looked at Hinata, then said, "We'll take a look first."

The agent nodded and led them to a display area filled with wooden models of Konoha-style houses.

"Here you go," he said proudly. "These are all two-story detached homes — perfect for a couple. Of course, we also have single-floor homes, but I think you two would prefer something private, right?"

Naruto nodded immediately. "Yeah, I like living in a single house. That's how it was before."

They walked around for a while, examining several models, but none of them felt quite right to Naruto. Either they were too big or the layout didn't match what he had in mind. Maybe he was just too attached to the house from his previous life — the one that had been destroyed.

The agent noticed Naruto's thoughtful expression. "Hmm, nothing catching your eye?"

Naruto sighed. "Not really. They all feel a bit… off."

The agent smiled confidently. "In that case, I've got another option. If you don't like any of these, you can choose your own plot of land and design your house from scratch. We'll handle the construction for you — a full one-stop service."

Naruto blinked. "Wait, really? I can design my own house?"

"Of course!" the agent said proudly. "We're the best real estate office in Konoha. Land, design, construction — we can arrange it all!"

Naruto's eyes lit up with excitement. "That's perfect!"

The idea of rebuilding the same house he and Hinata had once lived in — the same warm home from his previous life — filled him with nostalgia.

He smiled, turning to Hinata. "Hinata, let's do that. Let's build our own house."

Hinata nodded softly, smiling. "Mm. I'd like that too, Naruto."

And with that decision, a new chapter in their lives quietly began — one where they would create not just a house, but a home together.
