Leo sat across from Veyr inside the Cult Command Ship, a glass of alcohol resting lightly in his hand as the two Demi Gods shared a moment of peace and clarity.
The room itself was dimly lit, its large viewing panels displaying the vast expanse of space beyond, as far in the distance, Cult ships continued to arrive in steady intervals, reinforcing their newly established stronghold.
Veyr took a slow sip from his glass before leaning back slightly in his seat, his eyes carrying a calm satisfaction as he studied Leo's expression.
"So… what do you think happens next, Cuz?" Veyr asked, his tone casual, as he did not seem too bothered about the answer.
However, contrary to his casualness, Leo really thought deeply about the question, as he took a while to respond.
"For now….. The two of us need to stay here on Satoru," he said finally, his voice steady as he made eye contact with Veyr.
