(The Eternal Garden, Kaelith's POV)
A few days after the Cult's victory on Planet Satoru, a report made its way into Kaelith's hands, as the Eternal Sovereign read through it with tired eyes, his expression barely shifting as he processed the contents.
"Eh… the Cult conquered another planet," he muttered under his breath, his tone carrying mild disinterest rather than concern, as he let the scroll lower slightly between his fingers.
"Well, there's nothing new about that," he added casually, his gaze drifting away from the report as though the matter did not deserve prolonged attention, as to him, such movements had always been part of the Cult's nature.
"They crawl out every few years, make noise, take a world or two, and then get crushed back into whatever hole they came from," Kaelith continued, his voice calm as he spoke more to himself than anyone else, as his mind quickly categorized the incident as routine.
