Rael nodded. "I know you might not be that much into it, but trust me when I say, the faster you get your closure, the sooner you'll stop regretting everything that just happened."
For one, he was 110% sure she was blaming herself for what had happened to her mother. Both in the past, and now. Rael wished he could do things differently. Hell, he wished he could rewind time on a scale as big as reality, but all that would do was make his life harder, and everyone else's lives too.
So instead of that, he decided to tackle the present, and so he gave her that offer. From the looks of things, she wasn't too keen on it, but seeing his expression, she couldn't help but pause for a moment and rethink everything.
And as it so happened, rethinking it didn't take long at all, since this opportunity made her realize just how much she really wanted to see her mother.
Therefore, she nodded soon after, giving Rael the go-ahead that he needed.
