"Mother...?" Lilith called out, her voice laced with hopefulness, as for the first time since her mother's death, she actually saw her again.
Sure, her body might've been a little different, but that was because this was her soul. The shape of her soul made her appear younger and a lot more reserved, but in reality, from the menacing stare, Rael could tell she was a hothead.
In a good way, obviously.
"Lilith? Did you die too? Tsk... I told you to stop messing around and actually live your life. Say, how did you die?" she asked, standing up from her log and approaching Lilith.
She inspected Lilith all over, then frowned slightly.
"Since when did you grow so bold as to ignore me when I'm speaking to you?"
Yeah...
Rael knew these types of parents, and while he didn't hate them, he felt like they were far too traditional. But thankfully, she began patting Lilith as she had said it jokingly.
