Rael dusted himself off and then proceeded to brush the blood off his clothes. All the demons were now dead, and from the looks of things, their souls were also gone.
But in reality, Rael went ahead and swapped their souls, making them vegetables.
It was a bit sad, if he was being honest. He had expected some grand purpose for what they did, but it turns out that they had known Lilith when she was a little younger. They were actually friends, and that woman was some kind of admirer.
However, when Lilith was exiled for being a bastard child, that all changed. They began hating her on a very deep level, and not only that, when they heard that she had become a Demon King, they came at her mom out of sheer pettiness.
That alone would've made Rael desecrate their souls, and that was why he did what he did. Now, as vegetables trapped in each other's bodies and unable to move, Rael decided to cause even more chaos.
