Chapter 207 - Chapter 205: Harley’s Heist with Bumblebee

On the Helicarrier—

"Alright, so something got stolen. Shouldn't we call the police first? Why come to me? I'm a very busy man," Tony mocked Nick Fury, clearly annoyed.

If it hadn't been for his father coming back to life, he wouldn't have even known there were hidden relics.

"You people shouldn't have brought that thing up from the ocean," Steve Rogers added coldly.

They had been studying the Tesseract, but it had spiraled out of control.

"I'm willing to help—but I need a lab," Dr. Banner interjected, wanting to finish the task quickly and return to the Devil Building.

"Agent Romanoff, take Dr. Banner to the lab," Nick Fury said, ignoring Tony's sarcasm.

Natasha walked over, trying to spark some rapport, but Dr. Banner subtly stepped away.

"Don't take it the wrong way. I'm engaged. If my fiancée smells perfume on me, she'll kill me," Banner explained seriously.

"…"

Natasha's mouth twitched—this was the first time a man had ever rejected her like that.

She muttered to herself that maybe it was time to retire after this mission, live a peaceful life as a normal person.

After Banner left, Nick Fury faced Tony and Steve.

"This mess is on me. When it's over, feel free to curse me, beat me up, whatever. But right now, the Tesseract has fallen into Loki's hands. The world is in danger. I need you two to save it."

His words were righteous, placing the weight of the world squarely on their shoulders.

Tony and Steve exchanged glances, about to speak.

"Director, we have a lead. Target match: 67%."

On the screen, Loki appeared in a tuxedo at a formal banquet.

"Showtime," Fury said.

Once the two were en route, Coulson asked:

"Director, why involve Iron Man, Captain, and Dr. Banner? You know they're connected to the Devil Group."

"I know. That's exactly why I need them—so we can borrow the group's power if necessary."

"But…"

"Agent Coulson, just do your job," Fury said sternly, his face grave.

Right now, he didn't know who he could trust.

The mole inside S.H.I.E.L.D. still hadn't been uncovered. Every time they found a lead, it vanished.

Nothing had been heard from Pierce either. Fury had a very bad feeling.

He didn't even fully trust Coulson anymore. After signing a Devil Contract, any agent could become a subordinate of the Demon King.

The only person he still trusted now was an old friend. Once this mission ended, he'd ask that friend to investigate everything.

"Yes, sir," Coulson said quietly, returning to his station.

Over the past year, Fury had kept him busy with minor assignments. His rank hadn't changed, but he no longer had access to classified intel.

Onboard the aircraft, Tony activated a signal blocker.

"Steve, what task did Kino assign you?" Tony asked casually, leaning back.

"Just to help out. Also, Tony, you should call me 'Uncle,'" Steve grinned.

"Yeah, right. You don't even look older than me. If not for my dad, I'd never call you that," Tony scoffed, rolling his eyes.

After Howard joined the Devil Group, he started hosting gatherings with his old friends, which is how Tony met three of his so-called uncles and aunties.

Their eyes had carried a hint of guilt, but Tony assumed they were just drunk that day.

He didn't dwell on it, just enjoying the cheerful atmosphere.

In a banquet hall—

Loki, dressed in a suit and holding his scepter, quickly locked onto his target.

"This gentleman—mmph!"

Before the security guard could finish his sentence, Loki knocked him out with his scepter.

He then grabbed an elderly white-haired man, slamming him against a table and driving a device into his eye.

The guests froze in terror, then began screaming and running away.

"Bow to me," Loki commanded.

Outside, as guests tried to flee in various directions, they were stopped by multiple copies of Loki, who grinned smugly.

"I said—kneel!"

BOOM!

A yellow sports car drifted in and slammed into Loki, sending him flying. The duplicates vanished.

From the car stepped a white-haired girl in a red dress, her hair tips dyed blue and pink.

"You're throwing a party and didn't invite me? Harley's not happy."

The guests sighed in relief—they were saved! Or were they?

"To cheer me up, it's robbery time. Hand over your money! Bumblebee, get to work!" Harley ordered.

When Bumblebee didn't respond, she kicked him.

Bumblebee transformed and stood up, hesitating. "Harley, are you sure this will help me gain a soul? Robbery is wrong."

"You'll get used to it. Don't worry. Rob enough and you'll awaken your soul. If not, I'll sleep with Little Chichi to help awaken it for you," Harley said confidently, patting her chest.

"Thank you, Harley," Bumblebee nodded sincerely.

The crowd began lining up to hand over their jewelry, showing no fear. Some even touched Bumblebee's giant metal hand in awe.

New Yorkers had gotten used to this giant guy. He even had fans.

As for Harley, she committed three or four heists a week—sometimes banks, sometimes jewelry or accessory stores.

At first, it was terrifying. But afterward, she always returned what she stole. If anything was damaged, she paid full price. Shop owners even received small gifts—tiny bottles of Youth Serum. Whether for personal use or resale, it was always a win.

"You guys aren't scared at all. This is getting boring," Harley said, clearly unamused.

The crowd suddenly panicked. If she was bored, would they stop receiving gifts?

"Oh no! Please don't hurt me! Take everything I have!" a famous actress cried dramatically.

"Don't hurt her! Take me instead!" a middle-aged man shouted heroically at Harley.

One after another, people started performing like victims in a stage play.

Bumblebee tilted his head in confusion.

Suddenly, Bumblebee lunged forward and tackled the crowd.

BOOM!

A blue energy beam hit Bumblebee, blasting him away.

"How dare you offend a god!" Loki growled, approaching with his scepter still glowing faintly.

"You just hit my car, you jerk!" Harley exploded in rage.

"Shabak!!"

Harley instantly transformed into her demonic form. With a burst of black lightning, she darted forward and punched a hole straight through Loki.

"The hell demons… Why are you trash showing up here?" another Loki clone stepped out from the shadows.

"Hell's overcrowded lately, so they kicked me out. And guess what—I knew you'd be here," Harley grinned.

She reached out and grabbed the air. That Loki instantly vanished from his spot and appeared trapped in her grasp.

"You lost?" Loki sneered, driving the scepter into Harley's chest.

Harley's eyes flickered blue, but within seconds turned red again.

"I command you—drop your weapon, kneel, and swear loyalty to—"

"To your mom! I hate when people hit my chest!"

With a roar, Harley flung Loki like a ragdoll, smashing him into the ground and creating a crater.

But she wasn't done.

Without hesitation, she grabbed him again and began slamming him into the floor repeatedly like a demon-infused hurricane.
