Chapter 206 - Chapter 204: The Versatility of Creation Magic

Venom, seated on the sofa, looked at Kino, who burst into laughter the moment he appeared.

"What is it? Found something funny?"

Kino ran over and laid across Venom's lap, laughing uncontrollably.

"Hahaha, let me tell you. I just sent the Starks to see Tony, and Tony thought his dad was me in disguise. The moment he saw him, he punched him right in the face! Hahaha, you should've seen the despair on his face—it was priceless."

Venom rolled his eyes.

"You're really something. Aren't you afraid Tony will cut ties with you?"

Kino finally managed to stop laughing.

"Cut ties? No way. Once he realizes the truth, he'll probably laugh himself silly."

"You always think you're right. Just can't stop messing around, can you?"

Venom poked Kino on the forehead.

Afterward, Pietro and Wanda explained to their parents why they were there.

Kino arranged for them to stay in the employee apartments as a family. Pietro and Wanda were enrolled in school, and when free, they also came to Kino's classes. Pietro joined too—after all, accepting that much tuition and only teaching one person didn't sit right with Kino's conscience.

Jean and the Phoenix Force returned soon after. Jean embraced her mother and broke down in tears.

Her mother was confused—she had only given birth to one daughter, yet now there were two?

Jean explained everything to her, especially about how her father had abandoned her out of fear. Upon hearing that, her mother's face darkened. She became visibly afraid of the Phoenix Force.

Eventually, she accepted the Phoenix as her daughter too. After realizing she'd been gone for several years, she felt a deep guilt and wanted to make amends.

But when she discovered that both daughters had fallen for the same man, and that he had many women around him, her resentment toward her husband only grew. "What was the point of you, anyway?"

However, after learning that the one who brought her back to life was Kino—who also owned a global conglomerate—and after Jean recounted Kino's deeds, she begrudgingly accepted it. Her daughters had already been taken, so what could she do?

But the next day, after receiving a luxury car, a nearby villa, and youth-restoring serum, she looked at her son-in-law and couldn't help but be satisfied.

"What's wrong with men being a little lustful? Totally normal!"

A week later, after adjusting to modern life, she said goodbye to her daughters and left.

She returned three days later—with divorce papers in hand.

———

The next day, sunlight streamed through the window and fell onto Kino's desk, which was cluttered with various materials and metals.

A loud whoosh echoed from the sky. Kino looked up and saw a robot flying toward him, landing steadily on the balcony.

"You're still alive?"

Kino's eyes were full of surprise.

"No, I'm dead. Socially dead," Tony replied, stepping out of the Iron Man armor and sitting across from Kino, clearly annoyed.

Kino raised an eyebrow and teased, "Need me to cast a resurrection spell on you?"

"Sure, throw in a memory wipe while you're at it."

Tony's expression was a mix of embarrassment and helplessness. He really looked like he wished he could erase some memories.

"Hahaha…"

Seeing Tony like that, Kino couldn't help but laugh, recalling yesterday's scene.

"So, you came here just to cheer me up?"

Kino asked after calming down.

"…"

"…Thanks. I really don't know how to thank you."

Tony looked a bit awkward, lacking his usual charm and confidence.

Yesterday, he had finally had a heartfelt conversation with his father. All the resentment he had harbored over the years had slowly melted away. Even now, the memory filled him with emotion.

"Did you like the gift?"

Tony gave a genuine smile. "I loved it. I'll never receive a better gift in my life."

"Then that's enough. Now get back to designing my new ride."

Kino spoke calmly.

Tony understood and didn't repeat his thanks. His eyes drifted to the half-finished outfit on Kino's desk.

"You switching to fashion design now?"

Kino shook his head, eyes focused and serious.

"No. These are battle suits for the girls. I've gained a lot of knowledge lately. I plan to upgrade everything."

He recalled the precious alchemy books he got from the Sorcerer Supreme, intricate methods for crafting magical artifacts, and especially the Creation Magic he had acquired from Sissorne.

Creation Magic was far more versatile than he had imagined. With an existing sample, he could even create rare materials.

Take Adamantium and Vibranium for example—Kino could mass-produce them using Creation Magic.

He had gotten the Vibranium sample from a black market—courtesy of a "kind-hearted" dealer, who only asked that he join the Demon Corporation in return.

However, when it came to Nth Metal or Dionysus Cells, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't create even a trace of them.

Whether it was due to the rules of different worlds or the materials being too unique, Kino had no answer for now.

"You really love them."

"You're wrong. They love me. My love is fractured. Theirs is complete. That's why I try to make it up to them in other ways."

Kino's red magic glowed as it wove through the battle suit in his hands.

Seeing how serious he was, Tony didn't interrupt. He donned his armor and took off, blue flames trailing behind him as he vanished into the sky.

———

Three months passed in the blink of an eye.

Much had changed. First, Howard Stark joined the Demon Corporation, leaving Stark Industries behind.

The allure of the artificial sun was simply too great—few scientists could resist.

Steve and Peggy found out Howard had been resurrected. Along with Bucky, they came to apologize.

Howard punched Bucky once and called it even. Even though Bucky had killed him in the original timeline, the current version of him had only died in a car accident. Besides, seeing Bucky and being flung 20 years into the future didn't feel quite real.

He punched Bucky more because they had been separated from Tony for 20 years.

Wanda's magical studies were accelerating, while Pietro, in contrast, couldn't sense magic at all for an entire month.

Eventually, Kino injected him with an enhancement serum, awakening his super-speed.

Of course, Kino didn't forget to do a paternity test—turns out they weren't Magneto's kids, nor were they mutants. Pietro's power awakening was likely just a fluke, or maybe being near Wanda exposed him to chaos magic.

So Wanda continued learning magic, while Pietro was tossed in with the other mutants.

As for Harley the little lunatic—she somehow managed to sweet-talk Bumblebee into following her. Even though Kino could summon him back with a single command, he figured it wasn't worth the headache of dealing with Harley's complaints.

Then one day...

Kino's phone rang again.

"Boss, the Tesseract has been taken by Loki. Hawkeye has betrayed us. Should we intervene?"

"No. Maintain silent observation."

"Yes, sir!"

Kino stood atop Demon Tower, gazing at the sky.

"War is coming."

At the same time, Tony, Steve, and Dr. Banner each received an invitation from S.H.I.E.L.D.
