The Nine Tripods ascended to the skies, and the Heavenly Court rose from the earth.
Within the universe, two new worlds emerged once again.
The upper layer became the Heavenly Court; its shadow could be seen, but once ascended, it disappeared without a trace.
The middle layer became the Mortal World, a turbulent sea of red dust, devoid of immortals or ghosts.
The lower layer became the underworld, home to evil ghosts and Demon Gods, buried a thousand feet deep yet unseen.
The Three Realms were completely separated, and the once tens of thousands of meters tall Kunlun vanished; what remained of Kunlun reached merely ten thousand meters.
From now on, mortals ascending to this place would no longer find any Immortal Gods.
Nor would ghosts appear underground, as they are now confined to another dimension.
Even the City Gods, although guarding their cities, have their Yin Bureau located in the underworld. They can see mortals, but mortals cannot see them.
