"Drink then sleep. I will be here when you wake up, I promise."
"Don't you- why are you here on a Monday? Aren't you busy?"
"No, I am on a break. I came to take you to lunch since you weren't answering your phone. I am so sorry, Minah."
She shrugs as she drinks, even though tears are still falling down her red cheeks. "I am going to bed now."
"You want me to come up too?"
"No, it's okay. I think I need to be alone right now. I will- I will see you when I wake up."
"Okay."
I watch as she gets upstairs, and hear her bedroom door shut before I sigh, looking around. Going back to the kitchen, her dinner is still halfway done, from when she left in a hurry and so I start cleaning up before I prepare her some lunch because she must be starving.
She loves that store. Put her all in it, and someone just took it away. Fuck, people can be so evil. Minah is the kindest person I know, and for someone to target her? I am going to find out who.
