MIKO
"We shouldn't- this is not going to work, miko-"
"It's going to be okay, I promise."
"This is not what I pictured at all when you told me you were taking me to a date," Jude looks around, worrying his lower lip as he tries to release my hand from its grip on his wrist. "This is not something we can get away with, and you know it."
"It's going to be fun, I promise."
"I don't think fun is the problem," he shakes his head, looking at me with tired eyes. His whole demeanour isn't as bright as it normally is. My Jude is not doing so well and hence which is why we are at the fair. "This is where boyfriends take their girlfriends, and I am not a girl, miko. People are going to judge."
"I know you aren't a girl," I take a step closer to him, and he is forced to look up at me as he rolls his eyes. "Even though you are so pretty you could pass for one."
"This is not the time for jokes!" he whines, slapping my chest, but I hold his hands to my chest, chuckling as he pouts. Cute.
